Eye Care Center of McMinnville

$283 vs $550 That's my tale of two McMinnville eyeglass service centers. I tried the fancy new service center first, since my spouse got new glasses there. Their sales person spent a lot of time and effort bad-mouthing my existing frames, because I wanted to get new lenses in those frames. When their sales person told me it would cost $550 and take two weeks to update my frames with THEIR prescription---and that I'd be responsible if the frames were lost in transit---I decided to do some comparative shopping. The good news: I got the same set of glasses---progressive trifocals in my frames---for $283 at the Eye Care Center on Evans behind Builders Source on Hwy 99. Besides the savings and genuinely concerned staff, I got my new glasses in six days. My spouse was told by the folks at the beautiful new store that she would get her new glasses in two weeks. Instead, it took more than three weeks.

Very kind and made my 8 year old feel at ease and they were very polite. Beautiful clean office. Family friendly is very obvious around as well with all the photos of their own family around. Highly recommend.

I don't think I can name any business that is as top quality as the Eye care center of Mcminnville. Dr. Morrissey has been my family's doctor for years and we have always received the best care. His front desk staff is AMAZING and always do the very best to help in anyway they can. All I can say is thank you to this office and their staff for a job well done!!

I had lots of issues in getting my prescription right with various eye corrections. Dr Morrissey took lots of time and efforts to get it right with my difficult eye corrections. I really appreciate his patience and care! Highly recommend Dr Morrissey and his staff

Dr. Morrissey and his staff are always so helpful. Doc takes the time to answer your questions and explain what he is doing. They are so friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this office for a quality, affordable eye exam and glasses!

I've been a patient of Dr. Morrissey's for a number of years, and he's always been kind and focused. It's too bad, though, that his radical politics have gotten in the way of his caregiving. No one in his office wore masks. Not only that, he tried to make me take off my mask--no thanks--and he had posted an overtly political sign in his window that was 1) scientifically inaccurate and 2) disrespectful of those of us who are trying to protect elderly and vulnerable friends and family. I've been a patient for going on six years now, but I want an eye doctor whose politics don't endanger my life and the lives of those I love. Doesn't seem like too much to ask. I won't be going back again.

Dr Morrissey was not only nice and professional, he knew the answer to a question I'd had for many years that no other Ophthalmologist or optometrist had been able to answer! I am sure it was correct! I'm very grateful!

Had a great experience - quick and easy very friendly staff reception quickly filled out my info for me I was seen right away even though I was early the doctor was very kind and listened to me and explained things in an easy manner - I highly recommend
