Dr. Sanford was excellent. He was extremely thorough. I had to call the after hours last night and he happened to be the one I talked to at about 12 midnight. I got to see him in person today in the morning. He remembered it all from last night and he was a very nice doctor.
Dr. Danford has been servicing me a couple of years now and I must say I get the best service, very thorough, His staff is very friendly, very informative. I think him for all that he's done and helping me get my site back on track.
Doctor's assistant was terrific. Took her time with me and explained every step and why. The office was so busy yet she never made me feel rushed. Dr. Danford also took his time and checked/rechecked every step. He explained my unusual situation and carefully considered best options moving forward. He answered all my questions as best he could given the challenges I face. Highly recommend both the doctor and his assistant for anyone with serious vision issues.
Very impersonal. From the first person who had me sit in a chair in the hall and put the machine up to your eyes. I had watched a guy just go through the same thing and the equipment was not wiped off between him and myself where you put you face up to it and your chin on a rest. Then on my turn she smashed it into my nose which actually hurt, and didn't say anything even though I loudly said ouch. Then into a room where I was asked questions and she was unable to put medications in the computer so she hand wrote them on the back of a small piece of paper that looked like she threw away when she gathered her equipment and papers and left the room when the doctor came in the room. He was pleasant enough but I felt very rushed. He was done looking at my eyes in 10 minutes and was gone. Total time there 2.0 hours. Nothing was really said about blurry vision while at computer, while driving or even when I said I have trouble reading street signs. I was told I has very mild cataracts was given a prescription for new glasses but was told my vision really hadn't changed from what I had now. So do I need new glasses or does that mean I don't? It sounds like I don't so why a new prescription? I told the first person about headaches but nothing else was asked about headaches. I went out feeling like it was a waste of my time and effort. Nobody really wanted to listen to my answers to their questions nor really answer my questions. It just seemed like an assembly line. They were in a hurry to get to the next appointment. What happened to those doctors that care and listen, smiled, shook your hand. Actually looked at you while talking g to you. I guess they don't really exist anymore. Well there are a few around. I have a wonderful PCP.

Dr. Danford had listened well to his assistant and realized how delighted I was with my eyes. He was appreciative of my positive attitude and happy for me! Very nice people.
Very nice demeanor, seems to genuinely care and pays attention to details. He has a lot of patients, so sometimes the wait is a bit long, but I feel it's worth it and he's certainly willing to answer any and all questions during the exam. Would definitely recommend.
Dr. Danford was thorough, explained my results, did extra tests and did an excellent overall job
Great experience. Dr Danford was pleasant and his skill allowed him to move quickly through assessing my current state. He provided insight and information throughout the exam and his recommendations were easy to understand. All in all a great visit with competent Doctor. Thanks.
