Phenomenal! I called late in the day, with some new, disturbing symptoms. They got me in immediately, and ruled out a serious problem. The entire staff was kind and efficient throughout my visit. First rate care!

Dr. Schissler and her team were fantastic! I had basically resigned myself to a life of blurry surroundings when an optomitrist from years ago told me that my eyes didn't respond to corrective lenses. I'm so glad I decided to finally see someone for a second opinion that that someone was Dr. Schissler. Her team took me through some tests and eye scans before Dr. Schissler went through some trial lenses. She also let me know why my vision was distorted and how we could course correct! Before I left we tried a pair of lenses with my new prescription and I was amazed! I was able to see things clearly from a distance for the very first time! Excellent optometrist -doctors, assistants, everyone involved are at the top of their game. Exams are careful and long, with questions asked and answered so that you have opportunities to share symptoms and have clarity on solutions. Keep in mind that this is not only a place to buy frames; of which they have a great selection of course. This is the place to go where they examine the health of your eyes; when they don't like what they see they recommend other treatmens (up to and including surgery). Rock solid operation.

I've been going here for ten years. The staff is always efficient and the docs seems to know what they're doing. I've had 3-4 different providers at the same clinic, with no perceptible change in experience or results. Exams are effective and efficient. I get my contact lenses from them often but not always. Sometimes the prices at an online retailer are far better but often they're close enough for me to just support a local business. Thankfully I have no complications yet so I do not know how they are with complex cases.

Had a very good experience at Barnes eye care! The staff are very nice, very knowledgeable and very thorough. They also have a nice selection of frames to choose from. I highly recommend them. :)

Dr Schissler is always friendly, positive and easy to talk to. She is good at what she does, and thoroughly explains what is going on and the best course of action. I would not hesitate referring my friends to her.

I got an eye exam done last year during a really busy time at my job. I wasn't able to get child care for my appointment so I brought along my toddler. The assistant that did my initial tests before I saw the doctor was WONDERFUL. She was kind, empathetic towards my nervousness about my child etc. if she was my actual doctor I would have been so happy. The actual doctor was cold, distant and rude. She made uncomfortable faces towards my daughter and offered no signs of empathy. I apologized profusely sensing her attitude and she just turned her lip up in silence like a robot. I was talked into making a follow up appointment when I really didn't want to due to being super busy and I ended up missing it. She charged me for missing the appointment. I didn't receive any notification that I owed money via email or call until I got a letter in the mail for it being 120 days overdue. The absolute worst experience with an eye doctor I have ever had. I would never rebook or continue to go to this location. Beware.
