Best eye doctor ever!!!
I came in for surgery and Dr. Castillo was amazing. Really great communication. My mom doesn?t speak English. I was translating for her.
She also had her surgery done the same day by him. She?s also very happy with her results. He? s very kind and just the best doctor you can ever imagine great energy great vibes. We really recommend him to anyone 10 out of 10. Super happy and thankful to him for his amazing care and support.

I was diagnosed with shingles and urgently needed to see an eye doctor. Dr. Kaufman accepted me the same day, which I truly appreciated. He took very good care of me, explained what symptoms to watch for, and answered all of my questions. I felt cared for both professionally and compassionately. I am very grateful for his prompt and attentive care. The entire team was professional and kind. I'm grateful for such excellent care.

I arrived a little early as is usual for me. I checked in and, since I had done precheck in paperwork a couple days prior, was directed to the waiting area. Very short wait and the technician quickly and efficiently conducted all the technical tests and procedures. She dilated my eyes and said Dr Lee would be in in about 25 minutes, just has to wait for the drops to take effect.
Dr Lee came in tight on time. He was very polite and professional and performed a very thorough exam.
I was very happy with the entire procedure from check-in to finish.

Dr Lee and the EH NW team were fantastic from the first phone call through my LASIK follow up appointment. I cant remember everyone's names despite hearing them many times, but Michelle who handled communications and logistics was absolutely great- patient, supportive, and answered a plethora of my questions. The whole team at the surgical center was on point from intake to procedure. From a customer service level, everyone was incredibly polite and friendly. From an efficiency perspective, everything happened when they said it would. During the procedure, Dr Lee's team was absolutely spot on with how I thought this experience should go. I was quite nervous, and yeah surgery on your eye is not an easy pill to swallow despite the frequency LASIK is presumably performed. Despite being told before hand several times what to expect for the procedure, it's still hard to put to words. During the procedure, the surgical team knew exactly what to say to me, when to say it, and how often to say it. It truly can make or break the experience portion of it separate from the actual surgical result. Thanks everyone. Each touchpoint made for a great zap zap experience. Definitely better than my snip snip experience.

Wonderful receptionist and Mary is thorough and kind. Dr. Shane Kim is extremely knowledgeable and can explain my condition to me in a way I can understand. He even used an image knowing I am a visual artist. He is also funny and laughs light heartedly.

The providers are nice but both the locations I have been to this past year are very late to see patients. My last appointment I waited in the room for over an hour and a half before being seen. I missed another appointment I had that day so please plan accordingly if you go here.
