I went in for a simple procedure with all the anxiety and nerves I could muster. Dr. Castillo, and his staff, were kind and gentle. He has an energy about him that is just calm and you just kinda feel safe. I got through the procedure without issue and am proud of myself for it. I recently had my first visit to your office and had the opportunity to meet with the doctor. While the visit went smoothly, I found myself a bit perplexed due to the lack of detailed discussion. I would appreciate it if future visits could include more comprehensive information and discussion about my concerns.

There was a very long line to check in. A lady came out from being seen and went right in front of everybody and no one said anything. I don't know why they did an eye exam on me when I came in just for them to take calcium deposits off of my eyelid. Dr. Castillo was very good though.

De Castillo spent about 2 minutes looking at my eye for an annual eye exam, then said my eyes looked healthy, swung the door open, said he'll see me next year, and remained sitting on his chair waiting for me to leave the room. I have Grave's disease and have never received such a minimal eye exam since my diagnosis. He was rude, arrogant and did not provide much of an exam.

Saturday appointment scheduled for 9:20. Doctor was busy and didn't see me until 9:45. I had a 5 minute meeting with him and he told me my eye milia could be removed, but wasn't medically necessary, so I would have to pay for the procedure. I chose not to have it removed, but was annoyed that I had waited 25 minutes that felt like a waste of time. I can't comment on whether the doctor was good or not as I didn't have him to anything but assess my eye.

Thank you for a most excellent experience with Dr Castillo and his staff today Jan 2, 2025.
They were able to see me on short notice for an eye issue that was quite worrisome.
After a thorough intake, the Dr. examined my eye, made an assessment and suggested a few different routes we could go w treatment.
I appreciated he was not rushed and helped me understand what our next steps were.
I was completely satisfied with my experience there today.
