EyeHealth Northwest - Mt. Tabor

I went in on December 2nd for a contact lens appointment and purchased my contact lens supply as well. It was my first time at this office, and I had such a positive experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made me feel comfortable right away. I couldn't find my insurance card, and the front desk truly went out of their way to help me track it down. Their patience and kindness really stood out to me. Overall, it was a smooth, stress free visit and a great experience. I'm very grateful for the excellent service i received.

She has been my eye doctor for about 20 years. She is such a good doctor and other doctors such as a cataract surgeon and a retina specialist she refers me to really respect her. She is a very friendly and competent doctor. I don't live in Portland anymore, but I go to see her by taking 2 buses and taking one and a half hours one way.

Christine Gebhardt is a wonderful eye doctor. She explains the procedures and tests and answers my questions. I feel heard and welcome. She is also a warm and personable human being. I'm so glad she's my eye doc!

I am clearly in the minority, since she has a lot of positive reviews, but I had an absolutely horrible experience when I saw Dr. Gebhardt last year. I have been to a number of eye doctors over many years, and honestly going to the eye doctor has always been such an innocuous experience that it completely caught me off-guard. I found her unprofessional, impatient, and honestly traumatizing. It was my first appointment there and she didn't even introduce herself, escorted me to the exam room, and I didn't even realize she was the doctor until she started the eye exam! I've never known an EYE doctor to get so visibly annoyed and impatient with a blink reflex! She was so impatient when I was trying on contacts (contact lens fitting), which I didn't have a lot of experience with, that she just took it upon herself (without asking) to put in and take out the contacts in my eyes herself. She was literally sticking her fingers in my eyes, without my consent, and getting very impatient at my natural blink reflex. It was super violating and I was so caught off-guard that I didn't even know what to do. I will NEVER go back to this clinic, and I warn everyone who ever asks for an eye doctor reference to steer way clear of this doctor!

I had a very thorough eye exam by Dr. Gebhardt yesterday. She clearly explained my options and prescription. I am pleased with this location. I was able to park in their lot, but be aware they only have two spaces. Overall, a very good experience. Thank-you.

My annual visit with Dr Gebheart went well. She is prompt and I did not wait long to be seen. She is very professional, and explains everything in detail. Her office staff is professional and friendly. I have been seeing Dr Gebheart for many years and I highly recommend her.

I visited this location today for a medical eye appointment that my PCP recommended i get. Unfortunately I don't travel into portland much but this was the earliest appointment they had available. When I showed up the receptionist let me know that I was 17minutes late, she mentioned they have a 10 mi uterus grave period and anymore than that it just pushes the next patient and complicates the day. Im sorry you overbook your schedule. gotta love portland traffic around 8:00 in the morning. She said my only option was to now make another appointment. I decided no and decided maybe it was time to move my family of 7 to a new eye doctor

Had a great experience here. All staff members were really lovely and Dr. Christine had a warm demeanor that made the whole experience very comfortable. Thanks for the service!
