(I have the right dr BTW!) Dr. Lyon's is assuming, arrogant, dismissive and ignorant on how chronic illness may affect your eyes. She wrongly diagnosed my eye health, did not perform needed testing (I was later properly tested and diagnosed by a superior eye doctor who actually corrected my glasses which even changed how I walk now!) Dr. Lyons made unprofessional derogatory comments about her peers/other providers! She told me I did NOT need a new lenses, I had no issues except dry eye and not to come back for two years even though I have concerning health issues. I later saw in my PCP's chart that Dr. Lyons sent my PCP an overly polite letter stating all the wonderful things she did for me including new lenses and informing me I had cater-acts. Those were flat out LIES. To top it off, when I first checked in (early) I was pressured into paying $40 cash for a retinal image they said my "insurance would NOT cover. I was so concerned for my worsening eyes, I paid it. Turns out my insurance DOES COVER IT! This office SCAMS YOU, Mistreat you then lies to appear positive! Not to mention, I had an 8:30 am appt. and had to wait over and HOUR to be seen! SCAM, DISMISS, TURN AND BURN, THEN COVER UP. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THAT SO CALLED DOCTOR!

The staff here is really nice and attentive. Dr. Lyons knows her stuff and had a great bedside manner while removing a cyst on my eyelid. It could have been a disaster but it went really well. I also had a thorough eye exam, and I can't say enough about the techs and support staff here.

The staff and Dr. Lyons were caring, professional and efficient. I went to Dr Lyons for a "second opinion" and after my exam she felt I was not ready for cataract surgery but concluded my vision was 20/20 with new/corrective lenses. Am now wearing new lenses and feeling relieved I dodged surgery at this time.

Great experience here! As someone who has never worn glasses and always had great vision, I was very nervous about my first ever eye exam. Dr. Lyons treatment me with respect and kindness. She thoroughly explained my diagnosis and the staff helped me pick out a couple of GREAT pairs of glasses that I love! Thank You Dr. Lyons.

I had a really red, irritated eye. I thought it was an allergic reaction to the penicillin I was taking, but Dr. Lyons quickly diagnosed me with a corneal ulcer, and gave me a prescription for some steroid/antibiotic eyedrops. The problem cleared up after a day! I kept using the drops until a follow-up visit a week later.

I came to Dr Lyons in 1995 when I had an accident with a car battery. She took care of me then and ever since. A great doctor and person.

I saw Dr. Lyons in gerhart and she and her staff were all in so wonderful and professional, I'm very grateful to be under her care now, Patricia Jill Mulvey

This place is soooo slow. Everything we have done here has taken at least an hour. We were almost here for two hours for a routine eye exam for my son. We were put back in the lobby twice and to even pick up glasses we have been here for 45 minutes. If you plan on coming make sure to clear your schedule or block out more than an hour.
