Okay, where do I even begin... a little background first: I have a very real and very rare phobia of eye doctors. Like, sweaty palms, fainting, full-on anxiety spiral. Past experiences didn't help, especially when doctors casually threw around the word glaucoma without realizing how heavy that word can be. I'd cling to every tiny inflection in their voice, lose sleep, and stress for weeks. So yeah... eye appointments are not my vibe. That said WOW. I just had the most amazing visit with Dr. Monika Stamberg, and I honestly can't say enough good things. She was thorough, excited, positive, informative, and just radiated confident, smart, don't-mess-with-me (in the best way) energy. She handled my entire visit with so much care, and for the first time ever, actually helped me understand why I have higher eye pressure and why that isn't automatically a bad thing. She explained it in a way that made sense to me, and for once, I walked away feeling calm instead of terrified. Truly the best eye appointment I've had in a very, very long time. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Deja stepped in and completely changed the game. She handled my billing, follow-ups, and next appointments with so much kindness and positivity. Constant smile, amazing energy, and somehow made the whole checkout process actually fun. She made me smile, we laughed, and honestly... she rocked my life. I walked out recommending this place to strangers. I absolutely love this office, this doctor, and this team. If you're anxious, scared, or have had rough experiences in the past, this is the place. Hands down.

Everyone one is extremely friendly and kind. Deja's bubbly personality put me at ease and her attentiveness assured me I was in great hands. I truly appreciate having such an excellent eye care business in my neighborhood.

Tried MyOpic again, in need of prescription and frame purchase. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and time management. I arrived on time for a 9:30 AM appointment and was never informed they were running behind. I sat for 30 minutes watching the technician chat with customers and eventually sweep the floor while I was ignored. Even after I prompted the optometrist about the delay, I was still not prioritized. My time is valuable, and if a business can't provide basic communication or customer service, I'll take my business elsewhere. I tried but i guess back to Costco with comp prescription costs even w/o insurance acceptance and the schedule & customer time is actually respected.

I returned to Myoptic for the third time because my glasses didn't fit well - at all. The first two times, they glasses were tightened tightened but the third time, I was helped by Deja, who two times now has provided THE BEST patient care, and concern. She refitted me for a new pair of glasses that fit my face, so if she leaves, I go with her. She's that good.

Deja was the MOST helpful optician I've worked with. She was able to find me a pair instantly that fit my face and style, and even helped me understand the benefits of a Portland brand that I wasn't considering. Excellent service and very happy with my new frames!

Came in to get my sunglasses repaired because the screws came loose. An employee immediately took my sunglasses and repaired them in 10 minutes... for free! It was so nice to be able to walk down on my lunch break and have generous people help me out so quickly. Thank you :)

The staff here are gems! I was visiting from out of town and walked in to see if someone could adjust my glasses. James did a fantastic job on the adjustment and gave me much needed relief!

I have been relying on the optometrist and opticians at Myoptic to provide me with high quality prescriptions and frames for nearly 15 years and they have never let me down. But my last experience with them even exceeded my already high expectations. I had a combination of vision problems that complicated finding a satisfactory solution, including growth of a secondary cataract, changing astigmatism, presbyopia, and the demands of reading music in rehearsals and on stage. Dr. Katie Ross not only correctly diagnosed the need for secondary cataract surgery, but then provided the new prescriptions following surgery at no additional charge to me. Even after receiving my new glasses, and coming back in for an evaluation, one of their incredibly dedicated opticians, Deja, was convinced she could find an even more effective level of vision by changing to a newer form of progressive lens and a different lens material. She offered to have the lenses remade to the new specs, again with no cost to me. And this was based on her own recommendations and initiative. Well, the results just blew my mind. I have better vision, especially when reading music, which is crucial to me, than I have had in years! I owe this entirely to Deja's dedication and the dedication of everyone at Myoptic. They go far beyond mere excellence, they care deeply about their clients on a very personal level. Their care is worth every penny to me, and I recommend them without reservation to everyone!
