I don't even post reviews, but this is (still going) my worst experience in 47 years of wearing glasses. Hands down. I bought two pairs of glasses at the Sellwood Myoptic: one pair of regular glasses and one pair of polaroid lens sunglasses. Even after a generous insurance allowance, the glasses were over $800. Fine--I chose them--but two months after ordering and paying for them, I still don't have the sunglasses and no one on staff can even find where they are. And this is after they put in an order for a style I chose that...is incompatible with my prescription (which I didn't know, but the Sellwood staff did). So I had to go back and pick different frames. If only I had sunglasses to show for my effort. They're not even returning my calls at this point. I'm at wit's end.

Great experience this past month with Myoptic Sellwood and Williams staff. Drs. Ross and To are patient and always make me feel cared for ever since I came to MyOptic 5 years ago. They diagnosed my complicated medication situation and my eye health is doing well today only because of them (I was misdiagnosed by 3 medical providers before coming to them). The opticians & office admin were also super helpful to me these while I wrestled with insurance and picking out new frames and ordering contacts and changing my mind a few times. Happy with my experience with them this Spring.

I wont be coming back. My appointment was such a waste of my time. Ive always had dry eyes. Ive never had an optometrist refuse to fill my prescription due to a dry eye diagnosis without a $300 "medical" exam. Which also seems like a total up sell scam since she diagnosed the dry eye as a "medical" condition but some how cant give me a contact prescription without a follow up $300 "medical" diagnosis.

Incredibly friendly!! I recommend them to everyone. I struggled going to eye doctors and appointments before, as in barely could put eye drops in, but years ago they spent 2 hours (with no rush) to teach me how to put contacts in. We've move an hour away and still commute with our 6 month old to go! I appreciate how the doctors explain what they're doing and results in simple language. Their glasses selection is impressive and cute. The office also takes the survey responses very seriously. For example, I filled one out with a small complaint, and they called to sincerely apologize and give me a credit to use at the office. Seriously they work hard and deserve all the 5 star ratings.

This was one of the best doctor experiences I've ever had! I talked with four different people while I was there and all of them took the time to ask me how my name was pronounced before saying it. I really appreciated that. I also loved that their bathroom was all gender! This made me feel so welcome in the space. It was also so meaningful to me that both the nurse (don't know if that's the right term) and the doctor asked if shutting the door was okay and made it clear that I could decline. As someone with PTSD this was an instant relaxer. I felt calm and well cared for. My doctor took a lot of time making sure I understood everything we were discussing and answered all my questions very thoroughly. I didn't end up needing glasses, but if you do they have such an amazing selection! All the frames are super stylish and modern. They have some great classics but also super trendy pieces. Great experience!
