Opticare Optometry

Had a fantastic experience here. After waiting for over a month on an appointment at Eye Health Northwest I was called the day of the appointment and told I would told I would need to reschedule. When I called back to do so I was informed that it would 2 months before I could get back in. This was enough for me write them off forever and I started calling other Optometrists. The first place I called answered my call with an AI booking system that wanted me to come in a month later. Hoping I could do better I called Opticare and was pleased to have an actual person answer the phone. She asked when I would like to come in and when I said "As soon as possible" she got me in that afternoon! The Optometrist was very pleasant and their selection is every bit as good as larger operations. I had my glasses back 6 weeks before I even would have gotten in to see an optometrist at Eye Health. Opticare has a new permanent customer.

Highly recommend Opticare Optometry for their exceptional service and veteran-friendly approach! I recently received my glasses through the VA mail, but unfortunately, they didn't fit quite right. I called Opticare, explained the situation, and they kindly invited me to come in for a complimentary adjustment to ensure a proper fit. Cheapest eye exam in Portland in $50. Was able to call and make an appointment for the same day and even got the lens cut right then and there so no waiting on glasses. These guys do an awesome job at a very fair price. 10/10 Would highly recommend!!!!

I've been to this place multiple times and it is always the best! The people that work there are very nice and they always have a great selection. I've never had an issue with this place ever! Highly recommend!

Very friendly and comfortable environment! The front desk attendant was very kind and helpful, and Dr.Hoang was extremely informative and sweet. She made sure I got the best deal I could on an annual supply of my contacts. She also recommended a new brand for me that is way more comfortable for my eyes. I'm very happy I chose to go to my local private optometrist instead of a chain! Will definitely be returning for new sunglasses and frames soon too :) If you want customized care, this is definitely a great optometrist to go to!

I had an exam done with another office but I saw that Opicare had a dispensary on my side of the river. The optometrists were both so helpful and I have never had such a great selection of frames to choose from. And they were able to take my sunglasses frames and just have the lenses updated which saved a great deal of money. I would highly recommend this office

Extremely friendly optometrist and staff and huge selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses ranging from affordable to sporty to midrange to luxury chic, they even have 2 brands of locally made eyeglass companies! Dr Hoang is a total sweetheart, she explained my new prescription thoroughly and patiently and also helped me to navigate my insurance coverage so I could understand the options and costs for my glasses. I would recommend her office to anyone and with such a huge selection of glasses I am excited to support my neighborhood eyeglass store rather than shop online.

I needed a new optometrist and Dr. Hoang really delivered. She was so nice and so kind, thorough, and quick. They make some of their lenses right in the building, so I didn't have to wait for glasses. In fact, because I got one new pair of frames and one pair of lenses put into my old frames, so I got the old frames back in 30 minutes! That's unheard of and I can't recommend Opticare Optometry enough.
