Great optometrist! Very friendly. Great eye health care. I absolutely recommend Rose City Vision Care.

The good: Dr. Tran was great, she was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, personable. We received excellent care from her. The bad: Everything else. First, the space was TINY. The lobby has four chairs and there's nowhere else for anyone to wait unless they stand up and huddle around a table. The room with the testing equipment was the smallest, with the tech, equipment, my daughter (standing), and me there was no room for anyone else to fit in there. Despite that there were two doors in this room, and while I was getting tested another tech entered in order to pass through and we all had to shuffle and squeeze just to let her through. It was so ridiculous and comical I thought I was getting punked. It's like they decided to rent a space that was half the size of what they needed and just "make it work". The space wasn't very well taken care of, nothing about it made me think it was a professional health care facility. They spared every expense. Walls didn't go all the way to the ceiling, the bathroom had no paper towels, no garbage can, and a bucket under the sink half-full from catching water from a broken drain. While great health care is way more important to me than outward appearances, it's hard for me to believe if they spared expenses everywhere they didn't spare expenses on things that actually matter. I brought in a year-old pair of high-quality glasses I had purchased in the city we moved from. I never got a fitting, so they never fit quite right, being loose on the right side. The first tech made some adjustments and made it a little better and said to let me know if I need her to make further adjustments. I wore them for a few minutes and decided to let her know they could be tightened a little more on the right side. This time another tech helped me, after three adjustments she made it looser than before and then gave up telling me the glasses were the problem when clearly the problem was her not having the knowledge or competence to properly adjust glasses to my face. I now need to go find another place to get them adjusted.

Our whole family of four has been going to Rose City Vision Care for four years now. We really like Dr. Tran and her staff. She is very professional and personable -- good with adults and children (including my shy kiddo). Good selection of frames at reasonable prices.

Such a charming little optical clinic. The doctor, Dr.Tran is so kind. While I was there I met a staff named Maria, they were both very welcoming. I had my routine eye exam done thoroughly. While I was at the office a saw many different families that spoke many languages. They can speak both Spanish and Vietnamese, in addition to English. And bring in trnaslators for Chinese, Russian, etc. families. She gives the children balloon animals after their check up. I highly recommend! It's family and child friendly with a great selection of eye ware!

Dr. Tran was great! Very personable and informative. This is a small, no frills space, but they have everything you need and the support staff (Lucas & Maria today) were super nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in the Montavilla neighborhood. I had a glasses & contacts appt and was in and out in just over an hour.

Bad customer service Instead of fixing my prescription glasses which I bought last year from this store one of their employee gave me two different addresses of some other optical stores and told me to go there they might be able to fix it(my glasses only need one little screw). I am definitely not going to this place again. Below is the hand written address from employee.
