I had a great visit at SEE in Portland. I have a very hard time finding cool frames that don't overwhelm my head or look like coke bottles or make me look like a minion. Malaya (sp?) Jumped in and helped me find a pair of unique, cool, and well fitting frames.
I also got my eyes checked with a very thorough examination.
Can't wait to get my new frames!

Sierra is always friendly and helpful. My glasses were in my purse that was recently stolen. The frames were very attractive but , alas, no longer available. Sierra knew how upset I was to lose them. Sierra and her manager (don't know his name) both are amazing, kind, and truly helpful! It was not pressure, high pitch sales, and I felt very comfortable during the entire process. Although they were out of network provider with my insurance, with their promotion, I was able to get a good amount of discount, and they would provide me docs to get extra reimbursement.
Besides all of that, they do have great selection of frames !! I really love my new frames, they are not typical ugly old school frames, but very sophisticated. I found this place while I was traveling, actually it was a quite spontaneous decision for me to check out this place and I am so glad that I did ! (If you don't live in portland, it's okay they will ship it to you ! and still enjoy tax free)

This was the best eyeglass experience I've had in over 6 decades. Malia and her coworker (whose name I didn't get) were so welcoming and gave terrific service. Also, the eye doctor (whose name I also didn't get) gave me the best eye exam I've ever had. And if you go there by December 1st you'll get 50% off! I'll definitely be back and encourage everyone to check them out as well.

I'd give 5 stars except that they added "air fresheners" to the store recently. It was so strong I couldn't stay in the store. The employees were kind and helpful - they unplugged or turned off the devices but it didn't help. I had scheduled an eye exam and was able to do that with a mask. The eye doctor was great. I would have purchased glasses there but was unable to stay and look around.
