I had an amazing experience at South Waterfront Aesthetic Wellness. This was my first time, and I booked a hydrofacial with Tischa. The location was easy to find with plenty of street parking options. The whole team was welcoming and professional.
The technology they used to assess my skin and make a care plan was really impressive-- with a way to measure your "face age." I loved the treatment I started with (hydrofacial); it was gentle enough for my sensitive skin but effective. They include lymphatic drainage with the hydrofacial. I had glowing and tight skin afterwards. I got aftercare instructions and samples of new facial products I am considering. I have another appointment set because I felt comfortable with their business and I did not have any issues after the facial.
The team made sure I was comfortable with blankets, temperature, and adjustments to the chairs. Those kinds of details made it feel like a spa.

The clinic itself is super clean and really welcoming--it doesn't feel clinical or cold at all. But the best part was the team. Everyone is so friendly and chill, and they definitely know their stuff. I never felt rushed, and they took the time to explain everything clearly.

I kept meaning to write this review and feel bad it took me this long because SWEC truly deserves it. Rishad is the friendly face you see every time you go in for an exam or to browse, and he's always kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. What stood out most to me was when he noticed something about my glasses and took it upon himself to find a solution without me even asking. That kind of genuine care really leaves an impression, and I've never forgotten it.
The entire staff is wonderful, warm, professional, and personable. Dr. Ciampa is such a delight to chat with. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and never pushes unnecessary options. My husband Darryl and I are so glad to have them right here in the neighborhood. We love their selection, their expertise, and the welcoming energy they bring to every visit.

South Waterfront Eye Care is committed to high quality eye exams and eye care. The doctor gave my daughter recommendations about how to care for her eyes that showed a thoughtful character. They carry top of the line contact lenses. You'll want to double check your insurance coverage info as they are a bit short staffed at the moment and their report of coverage may not match your plan. This is our second eye exam there, and we have plans to return.

Dr. Ciampa is the best! After dealing with a load of optometrists, ophthalmologists, a surgeon, and a cornea specialist over the past year, I finally found someone who will truly listen, offer lots of solutions, and really work with me. My eyes are toast from LASIK five years ago and every doctor didn't know what to do with me, but Dr. Ciampa is very compassionate, knowledgeable, and gave me fresh hope. She took her time with me, really listened, and was very thorough without being pushy. I highly recommend her for dry eyes and especially for people struggling with the junk that comes from getting LASIK.
