I value the care and service I have received from this clinic. They are very professional. The entire team is patient centric and prompt to attend to your needs. They do the footwork for insurance coverage and the doctor is just as knowledgeable so there are no surprises or sales pressure. I love that the doctor takes time to explain your eye health and show images of what is occurring. And to make it even better, they help select the best frames for your face. There was no rush in this process. Parking is available next door at Zupans, and they maintain a high level of security so not just anyone can walk in. I am appreciative of their recall texts and that your can correspond by texting to make an appointment, or to send images of your insurance cards, etc. They also have their own patient portal. Fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the exam was very thorough, and the doctor took the time to answer my questions and explain everything clearly. Lori was incredibly helpful with frame selection and insurance questions. I highly recommend Uptown Eyecare to anyone looking for excellent eye care.

I have been a patient of several very good optometrists in my lifetime. None of them measure up to Dr. Friberg. Simply the best, most comprehensive and informative examination I've ever experienced. I cannot recommend Dr. Friberg and her team highly enough.

Dr. Friberg and team have been taking care of my eyes (and my eyeglasses, and my partner's eyes and eyeglasses) for over 10 years. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Together, they are a tribute to the very best of what a locally owned practice can offer: a truly dedicated and knowledgeable doctor, an equally competent and kind team, and a great selection of curated frames on site (and contacts and other services). Prices are also very fair for the quality of care and expertise, and they accept VSP (for which we are grateful). My eyes happen to be on the more complicated side, with several quirks and chronic things to keep an eye on over time. So, finding a welcoming and trustworthy practice like this to stick with has meant a lot to me. Hats off to Dr. Friberg, Morgan, Lori, and Allison for maintaining such a stellar practice. Please don't go anywhere!

Dr. Friberg is amazing - she's super thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and excited to share all the details. But aside from being a great eye doctor, she's also friendly and easy to talk to. I've been wearing glasses/contacts for more than 25 years and I've never had better service, from both the doctor and the other staff. I highly recommend Uptown Eye Care!

I've been to Uptown EyeCare twice and each time my experience has been exceptional. The communication and time with the assistant and doctor is comfortable and thorough. I appreciate the explanation of conditions and how to care for my eyes. Dr. Friberg has a knack for teaching you just what is going on and how to deal with your condition. She uses demonstrations, as well as, written instructions. She also has a good rapport with her staff and that is important for running a business well.

We met Dr. Friberg through a mutual friend and colleague and have been going to Uptown for over 10 years now.
