I found out early in the morning that I had shingles on my face which was a serious situation with the eyes and was told to contact an ophthalmologist. So I went to Umpqua Valley Eye Associates where I am a patient and they got me right in to see Dr. Armstrong. I probably didn't even have to wait 15 minutes. Dr Armstrong is not my personal ophthalmologist but my Dr (Dr Willoughby) was in surgery so she saw me. She was pleasant, thorough, and took her time with me and let me ask all the questions I had even though I didn't have an appointment. I highly recommend her and I also highly recommend Dr Willoughby. Umpqua Valley Eye Associates is a wonderful full service doctor office.

Dr. Armstrong gave me a thorough explanation of my eye issues and patiently answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I had been slightly dreading my appointment, but left it feeling quite satisfied and rather pleased.
