Allentown, Lehigh Valley Center for Sight

Was seen at the Allentown office in February and saw a doctor and we arranged two appointments then to begin the process for cataract surgery. As a patient I have GREAT RESPECT for my doctors and place my Trust in them. Today June 4, I edit my review because FACTS need to be brought up to date. Fortunately there are two sides to a story. This is mine here and the doctor has one which is different. FACT. This patient stated that she informed her doctor and staff at her first appointment in February about how bad her vision issues were. how she was unable to read and see television. However it was completely ignored. 2 appointments were set up for April 2025 for a glaucoma test and for measurements. This patient did not have to have these appointments set up. It's what I was trying to address with the doctor when he became upset with me. Unfortunately they didn't look at it that way. When I tried to remind the doctor about my Feb appointment? After he said my issue had to be cleared up before surgery? He walked out of the room agitated "I'm outta here!" Because I was accused of being "argumentative" . But The staff noted what I said, how I acted but NOT what the doctor SAID and how HE acted. it's the way it always is in the medical profession! Patient takes the BLAME for everything. What they fail to see is ANOTHER PATIENT could have had my appointment that April day. I was also informed that I could have seen a specialist for my dry eyes at my April appointment. well Question is the SAME. My TREATMENT with the dry eye specialist could have been STARTED after my appointment in FEBRUARY. But I didn't get the CHANCE TO SAY THIS because??? The doctor chose NOT TO LISTEN And WALKED OUT ON ME. Staff member said after he walked out "he was only trying to help. Get you ready for surgery" help me how? There are RECORDS from 2023 showing I saw another Doctor at this practice and that doctor knew I had the SAME DRY EYES!! LET THE RECORD BE STRAIGHT June 25 I edit this review Again. Have now seen a "Dry eye specialist" and I am quite happy with the treatment plan. What concerns me now is what I stated in this review. My treatment SHOULD HAVE and COULD HAVE been started much earlier and now I can say even back in 2023 when I was seen so that my dry eye condition DIDN'T PROGRESS to being as BAD as it is now. So I am not very happy about this obviously and am considering filing A complaint to the Department Of the state

If I was doing this review for Dr Ross only I would give a 5 star he is an amazing. Unfortunately it does not give him justice to work for a place like this. Who hangs up the phone on patients. Just just asking for a moment while their spouse is asking a question about their health. The patient is always right and they have rights. And the only important patient at that moment is the one in front of you or your on the phone with. Will not go back. Now they lost 2 patients instead of 1.

Would like to know why my $500 payment before surgery could begin wasn't applied to my deductible.I paid 2 weeks inadvance, my actual surgery date my deductible was a full balance. I called and was told about about the 3 billing process which was explained and I have documentation, but my question was why wasn't the $500 applied to my deductible. Still no clear solution.

Long wait, felt like the doctor saw everyone who came in after me first. Leaving at 445 from a 315 appointment. Was called back almost immediately after I arrived, after nurse got through petting a visiting therapy dog

I go to the Palmer Township office and I love the staff and Dr. Cherfas! The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Cherfas is so kind and was great through my cataract removal. I highly recommend this office, however, just so you are aware, it's quite a long wait. The doctor and the staff take their time with each patient and that's most likely why you wait to be seen. Bring something to read while you are there!

I was referred to Lehigh Valley Center for Sight, for a hole in my Retina. Dr Ross and his staff are awesome, he is kind and talented surgeon and thank you for helping me. Also I was fortunate to meet Dr Hadeed, she is the most kind, compassionate, competent, Dr I ever had. She spent time with me, and made me feel comfortable about getting LASIK, thanks to her I had the surgery and can see for the first time in my life, since age 5, I am 60. I hope to be a patient of hers for life. Also, I want to thank, Dr Ahdieh for doing my LASIK surgery. I am extremely grateful to the entire staff, office manager was very kind also. I have been a patient of Dr Ahdieh for over 10 years. In that time I have found him to be very professional, he takes time to listen to patients concerns and genuinely cares about his patients. He is an excellent surgeon. He has done both my cataract surgeries and implanted a valve in my right eye to treat my severe glaucoma. I would highly recommend Dr Ahdieh and his staff, especially Katie, to anyone who suffers from glaucoma, eye viruses or needs cataract surgery etc.

Excellent KNOWLEDGEABLE CARE with kindness and you are able to ask questions without insulting the Doctor! (one Dr. I went to thought every question was an insult to his knowledge) The Doctors all seem to know and do what's best NOT what gets them the most income. I would recommend this group to anyone who has eye/vision problems.
