Premier Optical

I recently had an optical wellness exam and wanted to share my experience. The eye exam itself was very pleasant. The doctor was professional, thorough, and made the appointment comfortable from start to finish. I truly appreciated the care and attention during the exam portion. Unfortunately, the experience changed when it came time to order glasses. The retail side of the office felt noticeably less welcoming. The staff assisting with eyewear seemed somewhat annoyed and uninterested, which made the process uncomfortable. Customer service is such an important part of the overall experience, and this part fell short. I was also disappointed to learn that they no longer accept outside frames for new prescriptions. In the past, this was allowed, so the change came as a surprise -- especially since I was hoping to use a pair of frames I really like. I understand policies can change, but clearer communication and a more helpful attitude would have made a big difference. Overall, the clinical care was excellent, but the eyewear retail service did not match that same standard.

This is my second time there. The first time was with my brother as a client, but this time I went myself. The service was excellent, from the moment they welcome you until the end. I loved the attention they gave me; they are very friendly and help you with everything. The doctor was very good, as was the young man who prepares everything before you see the doctor, and the guy who helps you with the glasses afterwards. I think his name is Erin, and he was very kind to me. I highly recommend this place. The service was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.

Dr Bennicoff is the BEST! And his staff is wonderful. I highly recommend him (in fact, this morning I was meeting a client and told them if they needed an eye Dr I had the best one to recommend. They said theirs was the best - and it was Dr Bennicoff :)

I had a fabulous appointment yesterday. I felt heard and understood, the exam itself was prompt and easy, and they even took a photo of my eye and walked me through what they saw. I got my prescription adjusted accordingly, and will certainly be going back to Premier for my next exam, and recommend them highly. Thank you to the excellent team!!

Staff was kind and helpful. Took there time an helped me pick the perfect glasses for me. Dr. Bennicoff also made my exam comfortable an alittle fun too. He spoke to me in ways I could understand what is going on with my eyes. I appreciate all there time!! I did get glasses and I will return for my next eye exam! Peter

I have been going to this eye doctor for years. Earlier this week, had pain in my eye, visited the ER they did a catscan and found nothing. Suggested I see my eye doctor. Made an appt for later that week, they called me back and asked that they see me that day. So glad they asked to see me earlier, it turns out I had inflamed muscle that attaches to my eyeball. Got steroids and lubricant drops and my pain is almost gone. I loved that they were pro-active and saw me that day, and resolved the problem. I saw Dr Chung, very nice and gentle, explained things before and after the eye exam.
