I had a great experience with Dr. Hillman and his team. The exam was smooth, and Dr. Hillman explained everything in a way that made sense--no guessing, no "WebMD-style" panic moments.

I'm usually the person who just picks the first thing I see and still leaves questioning all my life choices, but the staff actually made it fun. They asked the right questions, offered honest opinions, and didn't try to steer me toward the most expensive lenses "for my own good." Instead, they gave me options, walked me through the pros and cons, and let me decide without any pressure.
In the end, I left with frames I genuinely like--and a lot less decision fatigue than usual. Overall, a great visit and a team that clearly cares about making the whole experience easy.

I went to For Eyes with the challenging task of replacing my older mother's old eyeglass frames that were in very poor shape. I was fortunate to be assisted by Jessica, who was very patient and was able to find a replacement frame to fit the old lenses. She was very understanding and compassionate, and solved the problem! Kathy is a wizard with a tiny screw driver. My one year old unrecognizably bent my glasses . She repaired them in under 2- minutes. Good as new, actually they fit beyltter now.

My experience at For Eyes was excellent. Dr. Hillman's exam was thorough, not at all rushed, but he patiently answered all my questions, especially about how cataract surgery vs glasses might improve my vision. It seemed quite objective and I chose glasses knowing that they could improve my vision to some extent though not completely, an all in all, I am very satisfied with the outcome. Mellika is quite personable. She helped me go through all options and she was able to give me an unexpectedly good deal.

Very disappointing experience.
I scheduled an appointment and provided my daughter's insurance information Amerihealth (Caritas) correctly. I completed the required form and uploaded a photo of the insurance card, and the appointment was confirmed.
However, when I arrived for the appointment, I was informed that they do not accept this insurance, which should have been verified before confirming the appointment. This resulted in a complete waste of my time and shows a lack of organization and consideration for patients.
I hope they improve their verification process so other families do not go through the same situation.
