Best vision of my life! I had cataract surgery with Dr. Stella Lou, and I couldn't be happier with the process and the end result. My vision is crisp & vivid with incredible clarity. From my first visit to my post-op appointments, I was so impressed with the efficient and professional staff. Dr. Stella was very caring and mindful of my vision needs. She gave me the options for my cataract surgery, and recommended the perfect solution. I felt comfortable and confident on surgery day. Dr. Stella explained every step of the way. The surgery was quick and completely painless. Recovery was easy, I was driving the next day with great vision. I highly recommend Dr. Stella and her team!

I would like to share experiences I have had with this office. The first time that I was here, as soon as I walked in, the people sitting at the front desk did not smile, say good morning, nothing. I walked up to the desk and the gentleman that was sitting there, was having a conversation with another employee, speaking in Spanish; while there were other patients in the waiting area. He asked me for my information and I gave it to him. While he was going over my insurance, he told me that my copay was double what it was supposed to be; and this was after I called and made sure that they accepted the insurance I have, and they told me SPECIFICALLY what my copay-pay would be, mind you he was very loud while explaining this and I was absolutely embarrassed beyond belief. I paid the co-pay and made sure that I called my insurance when I got home and explained the situation and they told me that this office overcharged me and my copay-pay should NOT have been doubled. I waited almost 45 minutes to be called back, meanwhile I noticed people standing around the desk, talking about their weekend, and other personal things that, again, everyone in the waiting room could hear. Once I was back in the room with the technician, she was extremely rude. She sat with her back to me the entire time, she rushed through what I was there for, barely listened to the concerns I had, and when she was finished I had to wait almost another hour until I got called back to see the doctor. When I was in the room with her, the "scribe" that she had was also rude. Did not smile once, had a very monotone voice, I could tell she did not enjoy nor want to be at her job. There were several times that when I was speaking to the doctor that I could see this girl rolling her eyes, sighing heavily, like she was annoyed that she had to do her job. The doctor rushed through my exam and I left with many unanswered questions. I called the office the day after my appointment and attempted to speak with the office manager, who was also extremely rude and unprofessional. I explained my concerns and what I saw and experienced and she told me that "I am sorry for how you feel, but we are short staffed and very busy, if you would like we can refer you to another office to continue your care elsewhere". I have NEVER been to an office where it has been so unprofessional, I felt brushed off by every person that I spoke with and that they did not listen to any concerns I had, like I was just a number in line that they wanted to get in and out. I will NEVER be returning to this office, and I know other people as well who have come here and had similar or worse experiences.

This is absolutely the BEST experience I've ever had with getting my eyes examined and treated. Dr. Stella and her team were courteous and understanding. They explained everything along the way and made me feel comfortable with every test they performed. Dr. Stella explained everything in detail and I will be returning to see her in 6 months. Highly recommend!!!

I was referred to The Hamilton Eye Institute from the VA for Community Care. Jackie made the intake process an absolute breeze. Jackie knew exactly who to call when needed at the VA. There was no waiting for anything. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the approval for the care I needed. Dr.Betsy Luo and her staff are passionate and caring and have taken great care of me.

Dr Stella and staff are fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and thorough. The location is easy to find, safe, with plenty of parking. Give them a try, I think you'll be happy.

Great Blepharoplasty experience. Dr Betsy is caring, thorough, and professional. She takes time to answer all your questions. The surgical team including the pre/post-op nurse, anesthesiologist, etc were attentive and personable. They made the process virtually painless. I am two days out from surgery and I am delighted with the experience and results. Thank you! I highly recommend!!

Great first visit. From setting up the appointment on the phone to after visit follow up and problem resolution, the staff here is wonderful: friendly, helpful, interested in you, respectful. And Dr Stella is great. She is thorough and explains everything. As a new patient, I can honestly say this seems to be a great practice.
