Dr. Kanoff and his staff are amazing! I found them after recovering from intracranial hypertension and he instantly brought up my dry eyes. He offered to put in tear duct plugs and tried for over 10 minutes until the plug went in. He never gives up and hes extremely knowledgeable.
The ladies in the front don't come off with the best attitude but I've witnessed multiple times the way they are treated every single day. If you give them your respect they are very nice and attentive to all of your needs.

I made an appointment on New Year's Eve to come into the office to see Dr. Knappenberger for January 2nd 2026 I was getting myself ready. Did my check-in on my way there went to the window? The girl asked me if I received a phone call this morning. I said I don't know. I looked and my phone and said yes I did. She says well. We were trying to call you to tell you that your appointment was canceled. I asked them why she said because we're having problems with the computer system and she's not able to see all of her patients today. But the waiting room was full of patients. So the girl asked if the doctor could see me. She said no I can't because my staffing is now short and one of my girls had to go home to me. That sounds like a joke. I had an appointment today to get my glasses. I'm done with this office. I'm not going back. I do not recommend them. If I could give them a zero I would!

It's extremely difficult to get a person on the phone. If you don't schedule your next appointment while in the office you will never get a chance to do so. Double check your insurance because the office staff will not inform you of any issues

I had an appointment today. I am prompt with my personal appointments because I understand time is money and they have other patients.
Well, my appointment was for 1:40. I pulled up into the parking lot and one of my clients calls. Very upset needed to talk. I was able to calm client down enough to make sure it wasn't crisis or immediate need. It was not. So I asked my client if I could call back.
I walked into Dr Knappenbergers office at 1:53. Then I waited in line for another 10 minutes. That puts me 13 minutes late the line put me 23 minutes late. A nice young lady checked me in: I sit and wait 10 more minutes go by and she calls me back to the counter. I see the big X with void over my sheet. She says " your appointment was at 1:40, it's now 2:08. The doctor can't see you"
I was there in the grace period. I fell out of the grace period because of the little old lady in front of my who had to dump her handbag to find her card.
This appointment was a fill in they called and asked if I wanted an earlier appointment.
But then when I asked to be put on the cane list they said they don't have one.....Guess I'm looking for a new eye doctor.
Maybe it's fate because the nurse had no idea what my diagnosis was

AVOID Dr. Steven Kanoff... WASTE of time & money. Will need to seek care from another dr after seeing him
At my appt time, 3 patients still ahead of me. waited for over an hour. Don't know why he was behind, only spent 5-7 min with me.
Whenever I tried to speak, he Shushed me, so I wasn't able to tell him why I was there. Before he even examined my eyes, he said my pink eye was healing NOT, so he ended up rendering NO CARE. Ended up getting treatment at another eye doctor. Maybe if he allowed patients to speak, he could render care. That's 2 days off and 2 copays.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Carter. My former doctor, Dr. Bausch retired and I was scheduled with Dr. Carter. He was very thorough, listened, and answered my questions. He diagnosed a secondary cataract in one eye and will address it in a couple of weeks, at my next appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Carter.
At my appointment, Dr. Carter diagnosed a secondary cataract in my left eye. The laser procedure was scheduled and completed soon after. I had a follow-up and the result - everything is great! My vision has definitely improved and I am very happy. Dr. Carter is great. He listens carefully and his answers are thorough. You won't be disappointed if you choose Dr. Carter.
I saw Dr. Carter for the 3rd time. He is very thorough, explains everything, and answers questions. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Carter. I highly recommend him.

Because I was having pain around my right eye, I called and was scheduled for a prompt appointment. After filling out the usual paperwork for a new patient I received a thorough examination by Nicole followed by a caring exam by Dr. Carter who answered all of my questions. Notes were simultaneously entered by his assistant and I was reassured my pain was transient. Everyone from the front desk on were professional, friendly and in good spirits. I look forward to my next appointment--that says it all.
