if you want fast efficient service this is a place to go. And that is where the positives end. The doctor treated me had absolutely no bedside manner at all. Dr. Shukula. I was concerned about distortions in my retina. I sat there for five minutes, five long minutes while he dictated in front of me What he felt was going on. Then he turned to me and said "There's nothing I can do for you. You have dry macular degeneration. Here take some Of these type Vitamins." I was devastated. A month later I got second opinion From the University of Pittsburgh, Medical Center Monroeville and found that I was not the only one who would walk away in tears because of a diagnosis like this from this facility.And that it was wrong. Where essentially they told me it was slight age related macular degeneration. That the distortions were because of some surgery had had. That for my age, my vision was sound. What are my feelings about going back to Retinal Vitreous Consultants? Not in this or any other lifetime. Don't waste your money. Instead go see someone who's knowledgeable at the University of Pittsburgh Monroeville.

HORRID customer service skills- Patty, in particular, should absolutely not be answering the phone. Barking out the name of the business, her name, and then "please hold" and then cutting the line without literally ANY response from the caller is outright rude and then making the caller wait more than 20 minutes without ANY indication of the hold time or status update is just not in any way professional and it happens ALL THE TIME.

The staff at the Altoona office are AMAZING. The ladies at the front desk are so sweet and funny and I love seeing them every time I go in. Dr. Shukla is a phenomenal doctor who listens and truly cares. I couldn't ask for a better place to care for my eyes.

The receptionist refused to understand my situation as I have already had cataract surgery and have 20/20 vision and the local optometrist said I should need no referral for my appt, as I never had to gave referrals in the past ever with my retired opthamologist.

Tried to call back several times with no one in front of me and still waited 20 mins several times. They don't know how to answer their phones nor keep their appointments

Dr. Conrad and the staff are fantastic. From the front desk and throughout, this team is always professional and really help to make the most out of a tough situation.

Very rude. Horrible customer service on the phone and in general. Anna especially made me feel like a bother when I called! Highly disappointed!!!!

People are very rude. Drs not very knowledgeable. U have a problem. Dont go here. 0 starts was not a option.
