Unique Optique is truly amazing. I looked for frames that I liked and fit my face for almost 6 months and went to over 10 different optical houses (everyone you can think of from less expensive to top dollar). No one had a great selection or frames that fit my face (I'm very petite and had not purchased new glasses for many years so they had to be "right") I met Simon in another context and he and his partner were so lovely I FINALLY went and checked them out. It's been an unbelievably fabulous experience!! What makes them unique is the unparalleled professional patience and attention to detail they give to each customer. Both Simon and his son Adam were so kind and professional and knowledgable and their prices were great. (It took me 3 separate visits to find the right pair. They truly have the best section of your hearts desire for any and everyone. After taking a bunch of pictures, I still couldn't decide between 2 different frames and Simon let me bring the frames home to ask friends/family and have more time to choose. Can you believe that?? Who does that these days.?? Simon goes above and beyond!; The customer service experience is truly exceptional!!. Initially the lab he deals with it got the prescription wrong and they even called my ophthalmologist to check. I ended up having my eyes re-examined by Dr. Bilyk who was great and let me take my time and walk around the office with glasses that can have the lenses switched out to make absolutely sure the prescription was correct. Finally my glass prescription was right (my vision actually got better/less strong) and they reordered the lenses. I'm going to go back to have Dr. Bilyk order contact lenses too!) I got my glasses and love them. Simon says they are perfect for my face and is even ordering sunglass clips for them. The ironic thing was I was sharing with Simon the last time I actually bought glasses @ Sterling Optical in the King of Prussia Mall which closed a few years ago; Turns out, that was Simon's store/establishment before he changed locations to Ardmore and changed store name. How ironic and boy how the universe aligns!!! For all your visual needs, go here as you can't find better inventory, section and there is no finer, kinder, honest, cost effective, optical experience to be had in the Philadelphia Metro area as he oversee's everything, is a master optician and even more importantly a civil, classy, old school act. I wish there were more clinicians and shop keepers that were more like him. The world would be a better, kinder more civil place.

Dr Bilyk was on time and very attentive . The exam was thorough, she took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Optical store was unparalleled experience. From personal attention by Adam helping with selection of frames , to ordering lenses. Everything was easy and fun and personable. Thank you Optical Unique team . They helped me pick the perfect frames that fit my face and style, and also explained how to take care of them. What really impressed me is that they have an eye doctor on-site who did a quick vision exam and gave helpful advice on lenses. Super convenient to get everything done in one place! The owner also made me feel very welcome and even offered coffee while checking if I was happy with my choice. You can tell they really care about their customers.
