Dr Gurwood has been my optometrist for several years. She was recommended by my previous out of state doctor. What I like about her is the time she takes to review my medical history and her patience during the refraction process. Many doctors rush when the patient must choose between several strengths (lens #1 vs lens # 2 etc). I like to make sure I've made a good choice and often request repeating the comparison as my corrective lenses will reflect choices made. Dr Gurwood respects my time and never rushes or puts me under undue pressure. She is a good listener and always helpful when asked for advice.
