Patient of this office for decades. Staff is awesome, Dr. Walker is very thorough and takes the time to explain diagnosis and any problems to watch for. Anyone saying that office visits are "too long" has never had a complete eye exam with dilation, because 1 1/2 hrs is normal.

In addition to being completely satisfied with years of routine care, I'm additionally delighted in that I was seen today very promptly and on an urgent (to me) basis for what I feared might be an evolving emergency. Dr. Walker performed a wonderfully thorough exam before explaining his findings in detail. I am utterly pleased (and relieved); he's an asset to the community and I'm proud to be one of his patients.

5-star staff and 10 star doctor! I visited Dr. Walker today (4/3/2015) fearing I needed cataract surgery. After 90 min of testing the doctor informed I did not need the surgery just yet. I do have cataracts but the surgery is not needed right now. Moreover, he feels the reason i am getting headaches alot is because my eyes are perfect (w/out glasses) for computer work . He suggested I take off my bifocals when at the computer and my vision wouldn't be strained at all. All in all, a wonderful experience. I go in a year for a checkup. Dr Walker said he only performs cataract surgery when it is truly needed and not just because I have cataracts. ......... love this guy! Judy Kirkpatrick

Diagnosis was on point but the test results were completely wrong. Dr. Walker repeatedly told me I had 80% damage to my eyes (for the last 3 appointments, for almost a year), when I got a second opinion from Cleveland Clinic there was only 7.8% damage. I'm not sure if his equipment is out of date or how he could be so off but be careful.

I have been visiting Dr. Walker annually for several years. I always get a thorough checkup and Dr. Walker takes the time to explain my diagnosis and/or answer my questions. He is a professional and is very knowledgeable.

Had scheduled appointment at 10:30 am. Waited three weeks to get appointment. Arrived at office at 10:00 am figuring there would be paperwork etc. Sat in waiting room until 11:30 am and finally walked out. Not impressed with Dr. Walker. Obviously doesn't care that patients have a life and schedule too.

Great doctor and staff but tends to be a long wait to get in and long visit inside. Expect your appointment to take 2 plus hours

The service I received was good and no problems. My glasses are good. Fit comfortable. Good service. I can not just ignore something. I witnessed a patient who had limited English speaking language. Who was denied medical care because of the office told him he required to have a translator. His personal translator was not with him. Per the ADA and other health care laws that is discrimination. No person can be denied medical care because of no translator. Federal law requires the doctor office to provide a translator at no cost. Why schedule an appointment for a man knowing his language is not English. Then turn him away. When I told the person working with me all he needs is to download Google translate app to have the English language from the doctor translation to his language. The non English language translator to English. No reason for him to be turn away. That is against the law. The person said the problem is that takes too long for the doctor to use technology. Then why did you accept me using my aac device?
