The staff is very welcoming. The doctors are very helpful as well, Dr Sabherwal and Jeet in the glasses department are very professional and kind. I won't go anywhere else for my eye care.

After living in 6 states and 4 countries I can say this is the best place I've ever gone for eye care. Everyone on staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about you and want to keep your eyes healthy, but also make finding the right glasses or contacts joyful! I've been using Contemporary Ophthalmology of Erie for over 10 years and can't imagine stopping now! I've since moved to Pittsburgh and still make the annual trip to this office because I know the care I receive is going to be worth the drive!

I give my many thanks and gratitude to Dr. Emily Washek for setting me up with an emergency appointment the next day for my retinal surgery that I had that next day with Erie Retinal Surgery. She wasted no time and understood that it was an emergency situation, and that I needed to see somebody immediately here in Erie. I cannot thank her enough for her professionalism and great care to this immediate situation It was the end of the day, and she was able to get me in for an emergency appointment that next day and I ended up having emergency laser surgery on my retina. Thank you so much!

I never have an easy time with this practice. It's always something. I get the impression that there are providers in this practice who truly do not care to understand the lives of their patients. I was asked to come in an hour early, ended up sitting there for 45 minutes, and then was told that they needed to cancel my appointment. It feels very disrespectful to working professionals.

I am a veteran the VA paid for surgery on my eyes. The first appointment was 1 hour late the second appointment was canceled finally they did the surgery on the 3rd appointment but forgot to give me any pain medication prescriptions and the pain was intense and terrible. I went back for my appointment for the review 1 hour late I went back for two other appointments to actually have the surgery both were canceled after I sat there for an hour. On the third appointment they asked if I would come back the next day and I canceled services and I'm now going to Ross eye institute for my eye surgery do not do business with his company there is not enough room to park the waiting room is small the intentionally overbook people are complaining in the lobby every time I went there about the delays and if a company is this dishonest to overbook intentional patients then you can bet their milking the system scheming and scamming as much money as they can from insurance and from you. How could any doctor forget to prescribe medications for a terribly painful eye surgery procedure? Incompetence does not begin to describe it. Not a phone call from the doctor apologizing nothing they don't care they're there to get as much money out of you and your insurance company and the milk you dry and that's the only thing they care about. You would think the doctor would have called and personally apologized as he was personally aware of all of the times I drove 1 hour and a half to get there 1 hour and a half to get back never cared never called nothing. I've also done what I can to make sure the veterans administration never refers anybody to them because of this intentional overbooking.

I'm only leaving one star because I have no selection for 0. I saw Dr Imbrogno and Dr. Sabherwal who both misdiagnosed me. I went there with terrible vision , not recognizing faces, double vision and it was really taking my quality of life away. I was sent there because my original dr kept seeing little black dots on my eyes and wasn't sure what they were since he isn't a specialist. After getting no where with this office,and being diagnosed with abmd and having to have a debridement surgery on my left eye along with them having me purchase hard contacts and soft contacts along with wearing glasses (called piggy backing) . (COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY)HOW COULD YOU NOT SEE CATARACTS IN BOTH EYES??? I went back to my eye dr who still saw these black dots. He then sent me to see Dr. Zimm, who took a look at my eyes and instantly found cataracts in my eyes , where the proteins were clumping together causing severe vision loss. Within 2 weeks I had my first surgery for an ocular lens put in my left eye and 2 weeks later had another ocular lens put in my right eye. I am now seeing faces again and the Double vision is gone , I can once again see and can regain my quality of life back, thanks to Dr Zimm. I am so thankful for him and so upset with this office that I've wasted time money and had a unnecessary surgery.

The only reason they are getting 1 star is because google wont allow for a zero star review. The front office staff may be the worst I have ever dealt with in a professional setting. They are extremely rude on the phone and in person. They have made several insurance billing errors and overcharged us on 2 occasions. It is a shame because Dr Sabharwal is a fantastic eye doctor but the treatment by the office staff means I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Dr.Imbrogno did my cataract surgery. He's very kind, and the people on his team are very reassuring & professional. I can't wait to get my left eye done next month. This is life changing. Thumbs up for him & the people that work there.
