Dr. Edward M. Zimm

Got lasik done here. I WISH I could go back in time and tell myself not to do it. I had complications after my surgery and was in extreme pain as if someone was stabbing my eyes and they kept saying it was "dry eye" and did nothing for me and basically had me suck it up for a week straight. My eyes could not stop watering from the pain and I couldn't see the entire time and had to miss classes for that whole week. I got seen again and they said i was one of 20% of complications and then took it back when another doctor said it was dry eye again. Nothing these doctors say ever allign and honestly they really just seem like theyre winging every diagnosis. It also sucks that everytime you get seen its like a new person. There's no communication in this office and the staff are so rude whenever you ask for anything. They're dismissive and so quick to treat you as if you're lying about everything when you're literally just trying to get help. My eyes are obviously not 20/20 and now I have to deal with these annoying follow up visits with a clinic i dont want to go to anymore because I paid for it. I tried to get my prescription today that Dr. Zimm wrote for me in passing for contacts and they said they had no record of it. I literally begged them telling them im trying to buy contacts right now and needed the script they kept dismissing me and treated me like a liar when I literally walked out with a physical script the day of my appointment and basically told me I needed to go somewhere else and get my new script. Im a very healthy person and I never complain unless im telling the truth about something. Dont waste your energy. Go somewhere else.

Today was our first visit to the office and we couldn't have been treated any better. From the front office to the techs and of course, Dr Zimm! Excellent care and would recommend to anyone. Thank you for taking care and explaining in people terms.

Made a appointment today for exam told the receptionist I was having problems. Couldn't get in until August. She told me if I wanted to go somewhere else. Asked to see DR Zim but was told he only sees new surgical patients which doesn't make sense. Had cataract surgery 4 years ago

I have waited a year to post this review because I wanted to make sure my results didn't change. I highly recommend this for cataract and vision correction lenses. I chose the pan-optic lenses and my vision is better than 20/20! I can see all distances and don't need to wear glasses or contacts anymore. Dr.Zimm is excellent and the office is so efficient and friendly. There is no waiting and all your questions are answered in a respectful manner. So glad I chose this practice.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Zimm & his staff! Truly kind and compassionate while highly professional and experienced. His staff is also kind & obviously well managed, with care taken to hire good people. I had a very unusual medical issue that 2 surgeons had never even heard of; Dr. Zimm went the extra mile and handled my eye surgery extremely well.

Timely visit, great friendly and knowledgeable staff. My procedure went quick and flawlessly. Dr Zimm always has time to listen to your question and he always explains his answers. Professional, serious care is always present, but it's still a warm atmosphere so as a patient you always feel welcomed and comfortable.

Exceptional customer service. Each and every encounter with a staff member made you feel good, unusual in doctors offices now. Dr Zimm is impressive he makes you comfortable with his skill and mannerisms. He delivered exactly what i expected.

. I rate Dr Zimm and his staff 5 stars because I think they r the best. I had both of my cataract surgeries done there plus last week had laser on one that came back. I also go there for my eye exams and have referred many friends to Dr Zimm. His staff has always been very professional and I can't say enough good things about them all.
