If you are foolish enough to come here for your glasses expect to wait forever. Super slow to say the least. If you have an issue with your order they are almost useless. They push the up sell but don't help you if the upsell doesn't work out. Go somewhere else. You will be happier in the end. I would give them zero stars if it would let me.
Usually pretty busy but the staff do a great job balancing everyone's needs. They're really patient and level headed, plus they want you to make the best pick so that you'll love your glasses. Never had a bad experience with them in the last 5 years.
The eye doctor, ON POINT!! The technician helped me for almost an hour as far as finding and picking frames. Yesterday's experience was the best yet and honestly I have been going there since the location opened. Five Stars Visionworks
Quick service, very friendly customer service, tons of good options to choose from, easy to understand procedures, and recognized me upon arrival. Even though they were busy everyone remained friendly, professional, and everything was quick to get in and get out.
Customer service has taken a nose dive since we were last here a couple years ago! It took an hour and a half for my daughter's eye exam on Jan 24 and we've been waiting ever since for her glasses! I called a couple weeks ago and the AI assistant that answers the phone told me they were not there, would ship in 3-5 days. Called back this morning, it told me the same thing. I asked to speak to a person and they said, oh, let me check if they're here and we just didn't let you know. Is that a thing?? Sometimes you communicate with customers and sometimes you don't?? Sure enough, the glasses are there, probably have been since Feb 7 or so, but the employee wasn't sure. Very frustrating.
For the most part my experience was good, except having to wait a month for my appointment, but I got the warranty for my glasses, the glasses ended up getting broken. Called up and asked if they were still covered and was assured by the person on the phone, AND and optometrist that they were still covered, went up and suddenly no one can do anything and I'm SOL, get your priorities straight. I bought your useless warranty and all you did was give me the finger l
I wanted to share feedback regarding my family's recent appointments. With five of us needing to be seen, we were informed there was no availability for a single group appointment. As a result, two appointments were scheduled for one day and the remaining three for the following day.
On both days, the staff handling the pre-testing was efficient and pleasant, and the doctor was professional and thorough. However, there were several logistical issues that made the overall experience frustrating.
On the first day, our appointments were at 10:45 AM and 11:00 AM, but we weren't finished until nearly 12:50 PM--despite informing the staff that we needed to be back at work by 1:00 PM. There was a lot of waiting between steps, and ultimately, I had to run two separate transactions at checkout, which was unusual and time-consuming.
I chose not to share the full extent of the experience with my husband in advance, concerned he might choose not to attend, which would further delay appointments. Unfortunately, the second day (with appointments at 3:00 PM, 3:15 PM, and 3:30 PM) was similarly disappointing. Though pre-testing again went smoothly, no one communicated that the doctor was running behind--and my family wasn't taken back until 4:14 PM.
After lengthy waits, we were told dilation couldn't be done due to time constraints--despite how long we had already waited. Being asked to return for another visit for something that should have been completed during the appointment was very inconvenient.
At checkout, I noticed my husband's charges were higher due to a contact lens exam, so I asked whether measurements were included. I was given inconsistent information and never a clear answer. I also had to complete three separate transactions, which again felt disorganized and inefficient.
By 5:08 PM, I was still waiting on school excuse notes and prescriptions. I finally left at 5:45 PM without even reviewing the envelopes because, quite frankly, I was exhausted and frustrated. I still haven't opened the darn envelopes.
We were told our glasses would be ready in approximately two weeks--I truly hope that process goes more smoothly.
While the staff were kind and the doctor provided quality care, the overall organization and communication throughout this process left a lot to be desired. I hope these concerns can be addressed to improve future experiences for your patients.
If I could give less than one star I would. Hire cheap labor and you'll get incompetent employees. These girls swore up and down I didn't get a contact exam months prior. So I finally had to go down there. Same thing. No sir. You didn't get an exam for contacts. Just glasses. Um. But I don't wear glasses. Can you please look again? After searching like it was a scavenger hunt. Lo and behold. Eureka, she found it! Now how it was lost on a computer I'll never know but the next hurdle was apparently I didn't pay for it months prior. Her story was I apparently got a contact exam(which she now admits) and prescription, I then somehow swindled the blue haired girl that gave me the trial contacts and I made a run for it without paying. Unbelievable! So I paid for the prescription a second time. Still no sample unless I'm ok with her blackmailing me for a 6 month supply of contacts. So I walk out with one contact in. Never again. I immediately go to Target and the lady who had no reason to help me offered to squeeze me in for an exam the next day AND gave me a sample on the spot so I could see. She doesn't know it but she won a customer for life. Thank you Target for hiring adults that were willing to help someone who lost a contact at Christmas.
