Gettysburg Ophthalmology Associates

Office staff is great. I had cataract surgery, all questions were answered prior to surgery. AFTER surgery no one cared! I said I still had blurry vision and was told "that must be difficult". I was wearing glasses simply for close up and reading! Now I have to wear them all the time. All the office is concerned about is my small balance.

I called early in the AM for an "Emergency" appointment. They had one available same day. Everyone I encountered from check-in through check-out was great.

One of the best offices I've ever been to!! They fit me in as a new patient for an emergency the next day! Every single person was so kind and welcoming! Dr. Beaver was so amazing, very reassuring and put my fears at ease. I could not of been more happier with my experience. I wish all offices were like this!!

RUDE---Do not go to this RUDE office, doctor may be ok, but office needs to be cleaned out, INS CO called also & receptionist rude to them, Ins Co Agent told me to go elsewhere saying they were also extremely rude to him. How does people like this receptionist get a job with her attitude?

The personnel are very informative of insurance coverage options when arranging appointments. I went there after they had verified they took my insurance but when I showed up with my insurance card information, I was told they don't accept that kind. Would've been nice to know before wasting my time waiting on the appointment and then the time and gas it takes to get there. All that information should've been explained over the phone when scheduling the appointment. Extremely disappointed with the lack of knowledge from the staff. Huge WASTE OF TIME. Don't bother because you'll wait 3 months waiting for your appointment and 50/50 chance they dont take your insurance. They'll tell you they take all forms of your insurance over the phone!! The office personnel DO NOT know how to do their job.

I needed immediate medical assistance with an issue with my eye and I was so unbelievably pleased with the staff at this office. The front office assistants answered my phone calls promptly and friendly. The technicians are very welcoming and comforting. Dr. Tiede took me seriously and kept it real in a reaffirming way. I had to come to this office for an emergency but am so pleased with the experience that I will continue to come here for any future eye related appointments. My issue was very sudden and terrifying but Gettysburg Ophthalmology Associates gave me the care I needed promptly and put a smile on my face while doing so.

I called to try and get an appointment today 1/15/24 because of persistent pink eye symptoms. They took me same day answered all my questions and gave me new medication without issue. I'll definitely return here for future issues as the staff were friendly and everything went well.

Had an emergency situation pop up on a Sunday and called them Monday morning and they got me in Monday afternoon. Excellent staff and doctor.
