What I really liked about Columbus LASIK Vision is that it feels like a family business, not just a medical office. Everyone knows you by name and stays with you through the whole process -- from the first consultation to surgery and follow-up. Dr. Columbus explained everything clearly, made me feel safe, and treated me with such kindness and care. The surgery was quick, comfortable, and the results were amazing -- I could already see better the next day. It's a place where you feel cared for, not just treated. Dr. Columbus was absolutely wonderful. I came up from South Carolina to have the contoura Lasik procedure done. I had been researching doctors in my area and was shocked at the high price point in the South Carolina and Florida areas. I was only able to find a few providers who ranged in cost from $4,500-$6,500 dollars. The highest laser they offered was the wavefront laser at this price. After speaking with my sister, I decided to look in the New Jersey area where she had, had her procedure done years prior. I looked into about 20 different doctors and landed on Dr. Columbus because of his high-end technology, wiliness to spend the time to talk to me about all my options, and ability to offer me an affordable cost on a high-end laser that would address not only my nearsighted issues but also my glare and astigmatism. Dr. Columbus worked with me through multiple reschedules of the procedure date to work around my work schedule as well as provided me with his private cellphone number for any issues during my travel. On the day of the actual procedure, I was in and out in under an hour. I had a small issue with pain when I went home, and I called Dr. Columbus, and he immediately returned to the office to numb my eyes again so I could keep my eyes healing properly. I was so impressed with both brothers and how kind and accommodating they were during the whole process. I could not say enough about how much I would recommend taking the trip to use Dr. Columbus for your procedure! It is well worth the trip and saved me quite a bit of money even with the travel. Dr. Columbus was very professional from my consultation to surgery as well as my after care exams. He is very caring and answered all my questions & concerns on my consult. Dr. Bill is incredible. Not only did he thoroughly explain my options regarding surgery, he also took the time to take measurements/do testing/etc. before surgery. He answered any and all questions I had (which was a lot) because it's new and nerve wracking to do a procedure like this. His prices outdo anybody in the market and he uses the most up to date technology for his laser surgeries. The procedure itself was quick and painless. He called me each day to see how I was feeling afterwards and to tell me which drops to use at which time. He is adamant about patients going to him for the monthly checkups after surgery because he CARES and wants to avoid any scarring/issues after surgery. His bedside manner is great, too. Overall, I'd recommend him to anybody and everybody. He's awesome and deserves all the praise! Thank you Dr. Bill for the gift of clear vision without contacts/glasses... you are amazing!
