Well, I have been a long term Lenscrafters consumer, but after today's experience, I will no longer be doing business with them. I went in for my yearly exam. I have frames that I love and can no longer get. I wanted to buy just the lenses for my current frames. I was told I cannot just buy the lenses for frames I bought there 2 years ago. I was told I HAVE to buy new frames to get new lenses. The frames and lenses came to over a $1000.
I'm like, absolutely not. I just need new lenses. She insisted so I walked out. I am so disappointed.

I am extremely picky about eyedoctors. I moved here in 1998 and have seen 3 years in a row who has great staff, doesn't push his product and is honest about the pros and cons of products ... to the point of not recommending a more expensive option. Dr. Chiang is interested in working with you to get the right prescription that is comfortable (contacts). He doesn't have an aggressive personality and I'd be surprised if you didn't like him or have a good experience.
They took both my insurances (few do). You'll have plenty of choices scheduling online or over the phone.
