Very poor customer service from the staff. First time customer, had to follow up multiple times to schedule an appointment. The meeting with the doctor went smoothly but that was the only positive experience at this practice. Ordered a 6 month supply of contacts, when I went to pick up they had only a 30 day supply which they tried to pass off as a 6 month supply. Then when they acknowledged their mistake, Kim (front desk associate) advised she would call back later that afternoon or first thing Monday morning with an update. Never received a call, had to follow up ourselves at which point they said that we only ordered a 1 month supply with no additional explanation. When we asked for an itemized receipt, she could not provide, when we asked for a pricing list to verify their prices, she could not provide that either. Worst part, there was no ownership or responsibility taken for their mistake. Instead she made us feel like we were inconveniencing her by trying to understand what happened. Overall horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone.
Our whole family has been coming here for 3 years now, and we greatly enjoy having them as our eye care providers! My husband and I have 4 kids, and it has been as quick a process as it can be getting the kids in, fitted, and out the door. My glasses came in within 3 days--very quick service and prompt calling. They also called to remind me of appointments and didn't charge me when I accidentally missed a block of appointments. Very thorough in explaining how to select glasses and patient as we tried on at least 30 different pairs. They are a great eye care provider. Highly recommend!
Very Nice Doctor let me start there. Staff at first meet was polite. I waited 2 months for an appt , I went over everything via phone when I made the appt. So I was unaware that I would have to pay for a contact fitting . I did not have cash or a card on me when I asked if I could run to an atm or store to get cash I was told " we don't have time to wait on you to get $60" my son was also being seen and his appt was reaching an end. I had all 4 of my kids with me & I just felt no compassion, the short grey haired lady seemed to be more concerned with getting home than helping, eyes are important and for these appts to be scheduled so far out I just thought it was senseless to turn me away. Totally my fault for not being fully prepared but that was my experience.
I've been a Pt of Dr. Precope since 2012ish. Never a complaint. Highly recommend. Dr., a ten. Nurses, a ten, receptionist, a ten.
Although I have been going to horizon for years, and they had confirmed my appointment, on top of having my ID on file. I show up and they say I can't be seen because I didn't have it on hand. I agree what many people say about their eyeglass part rude. Uncaring. My glasses even broke 2 days later. These people had me so upset and didn't care that it was hard for me to get there. I even asked why they couldn't use my I D on file or why did they not tell me when they called to confirm, or even send out letters to your patients? Then the dr. Came out who I know knows me and said you just have to reschedule.I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND ANYONE TO THEM, and they better ALL hope no one treats their mom the way that they treated .e.
Horrible customer service! Took my children here for the first time. Office reeked of poop. The receptionist called me yesterday to inform me that my son's contacts was in and ready for pick up only to get there and they say that I need an additional appointment before they can release them! Now why wouldn't you have told me that when you said that they was ready for pick up! Also it took 4 wks for the glasses and contacts to even get back. Horrible,we will be changing offices!
I have been screwed over 3 times with appointments as a new customer. The front desk person is very rude and tried to blame everything on me. I am in full control of my faculties and did not make these mistakes. I would not recommend this practice to anyone!
Horrible. I ordered my first pair of glasses a month ago from them. Not only have I NOT received them, but they tried to blame my insurance company. I called my ins company and they said I was approved on Nov 30, and payment was made on Dec 15 so there is no reason I shouldn't have my glasses. When I spoke to them, they said their "lab screwed up the prescription" so they sent them back to get corrected. Never calling me to let me know this. I wish I could cancel and go elsewhere. I will NEVER go back. I have health issues that effect my eyes. I am thinking these scripts may not be correct when they come in! So all that money gone. Gonna call my insurance back and see what I can get done. I am worried now that they lied to me, tried to blame someone else, and screwed them up and didn't keep me informed. Avoid!
