I've visited this store many times and have always had positive experiences. I've gotten at least four pairs of glasses at the Homestead store over the last ten years. I like the scheduling convenience and the on-time efficient service. Their glasses collection changes all the time, so there's always something fresh to try on when I'm looking for new glasses. I highly recommend!
I was thrilled with my overall experience at Visionworks Waterfront. I'd read reviews before going and found it easy to make an appointment the next week. Their process was extremely streamlined. The only slight drawback was that all of the associates were busy with other customers (perhaps walk-ins) when I arrived so I had to wait a while to get started. But once I did, everything was explained to me clearly and I was moved through the steps very quickly. I chose to get the retinal photos (extra $35) and I was presented with two options for a prescription: bifocal or just readers. My distance vision isn't too bad, so I opted to stick with readers. Never at any point in the process did I feel pressured. Promotions and options and insurance coverage were explained to me in an informative way for me to make my best decision. I'm looking forward to receiving my new readers and would recommend them to anyone with standard vision care needs.
Had an emergency concerning a contact. Went into Waterfront Vision Works, was greeted immediately and my issue was heard. The problem was resolved extremely quickly and without any snags. HUGE shoutout to Mason for taking care of the situation. Extremely polite, proficient, and prompt! Will absolutely be coming back. Thank you!
I am not one to write bad reviews, and I have been going to vision Works for over 10 years. I have never had a bad experience. Me and my husband both had separate appointments at Visionworks with the same doctor. Dr. Brett Nepanick or something. First of all, I barely have any prescription in my eyes, I just have a tiny bit of prism I told him I wanted to just keep my old prescription It may just needed updated. He did not listen to anything I was saying, believe me it was obvious. I told him I was concerned that my results weren't correct because I felt like the entire appointment was rushed. I was trying to tell him about how my eyesight affects my headaches and it genuinely felt like he was uninterested . I have never had an eye doctor appointment where I can't see out of the glasses I'm given. Then this week, my husband goes for his contacts appointment and the doctor flew through his appointment and also put his contacts in as the wrong brand...so now we have to call our insurance. I Picked up my glasses and put them on in there and knew immediately I could not see out of them, I have never had this happen After an eye doctors appointment and I had to immediately reschedule. they had to take my glasses back and I had to do a new eye exam all over again, request off work again because he rushed through and didnt care enough about his job. I'm sorry but I am very annoyed. My next appointment was with a woman, I am very sorry that I forget her name, but she was absolutely fabulous. She took her time, I told her that I felt like he rushed through my appointment and that my prescription was not right, and she really made me feel listened to.
The people up front were amazing and helpful as well, but i will go to a different visionworks location to avoid that doctor in the future, definitely.
I come here annually for my eye exam. The staff in front are always great, however I had to correct Brett Naponic about his attitude while administering the exam. While the exam started out pleasant, he got somewhat nasty when I told him the vision in one of my remained unaffected while he made changes. After I called him out on it, he quickly change his demeanor. I just thought it was a lot of nerve. I've had him administer my exams in the past and he's always great, so this was a first.
Ask for Sue if you go to the Waterfront location! She is thoughtful, caring, and thorough. I had broken my eyeglass frame, and it was being held together with super glue. I wasn't sure if my prescription was still valid and what my insurance would cover, if anything. Sue confirmed my prescription was still valid, although I wouldn't be eligible to use my insurance coverage until December. As I was looking at new frames, Sue realized that I had purchased accident protection on my broken eyeglasses last year! Due to her thorough review of my earlier purchase, I ended up with the same exact frame (thankfully still available on the wall) and Sue simply popped my lenses out of the old frame into the new frame. The best part... it didn't cost me anything! Be sure to purchase accident protection! It is worth it! Thanks, Sue, for your kindness and going the extra mile!
My sister and I recently each purchased new glasses and sunglasses. Today I picked up mine and she had some questions about her glasses and prescriptions for her recent purchase as well as the one from 2023. Jess was exceedingly helpful in answering her questions and so very polite. And I do love my new glasses.
Everyone was so nice and attentive since we walked in the door we were greeted and then explained what we needed we were sat to wait for someone to take care of us and didn't wait long, we gat an appointment for the next morning, so we came back next morning for our appointment and got taken care got the exam done and chose our glasses everyone was very efficient and nice
