Eyeglass World

My wife recently got glasses here after a virtual exam. It's unbelievable to me that she has gone back 6 times to have them adjusted which was attempted by three different members of the staff. The last time ( yesterday ), she was told the feeling of an incorrect fit was more due to temperature changes more than fit. Today, we went to another company and their employee took the time to actually look at each ear and feel the fit while adjusting them. She tells me they are very comfortable now and is having no discomfort wearing them FINALLY ! I'm not blaming the employees of eyeglass world as much as the company in general. I suspect the staff is not paid very highly and that training is not up to standards I would expect for similar reasons. I have personally gotten glasses there but highly doubt I will in the future due to my wife's recent fiasco. I would encourage the company to engage in better training, some of the staff seems very interested and doing their best with the knowledge and resources they have but can't effectively meet the client needs or at least not this client. Although they told her yesterday to come back if it still wasn't correct, we saw no benefit in going back the 7th time.

They're the worst! Their prices are obscene and never what they advertise. The customer service is unprofessional and seriously lacking. They tell that they have what you want. Then, unapologetically say someone was wrong about that, but finally get them ordered. Then your notified your order's in; only to get there and that was incorrect! There's no accountability and never any consistency between corporate and the stores (I've tried/used two locations). The frustration and headaches aren't worth it! Go elsewhere!

I went to the Monroeville store to pick up my glasses. A gentleman greeted me and helped me get my glasses from the back. Before I could even try my glasses on, he walked to the back of the store. During this whole interaction, he had his phone on speaker. Thankfully, Michelle stepped in to help assist me. She made an unpleasant experience more pleasant. I am thankful for employees who have great customer service!

Out of pocket... buy one get one that includes Oakley/Nike was a surprise. Figured would only apply to the "cheaper" frames or be capped at a lesser price point. Got an Oakley and a Nike. Both pair actually ready for pickup less than 24 hours from the exam. Can't ask for more. My fault for putting off signing up for vision at work and having to go into pocket. Can't ask for more from the team at eyeglass world tho...

Disappointing. The scheduling portion was good. Can all be done via text or online. But, the wheels fell off after that. Despite the 2 FOR pricing, once you add ANYTHING in, the prices go up dramatically. I started out at 2 for $149 and ended up at over $800 all in with special lenses, anti glare, etc. Nobody called to let me know when my glasses were in and they hit you up again when you pick up for a warranty. And, despite spending over $800, I got 2 cheap plastic cases, even after asking if they had anything better. This experience was very much like buying a car! Advertising base prices but nailing you on needed options.

The best eyeglass place in the area! Angel and Shane were exceptional. Angel went above and beyond to correct my lens order. Also the guy in the back that adjusts the frames and does the lens changes is exceptional. Sorry I didn't catch his name. Overall great experience. Will be back again!

It's my first time using this place. I normally go to visionworks but with my new insurance which is not excepted at visionworks led me here. My wife gets her glasses here and had no problems. Everybody i doubt with was super nice. However I was told my glasses would be short ordered and should be in on Tuesday or Wednesday. I went in on Friday April 18th and it's now Friday April 25th and I still have yet to receive my glasses. At visionworks who sends there glasses out to be made I always received within a week. The wait is my reasoning behind the two stars. Then to boot my wife had an exam the same day and since her glasses had to be sent out to be made they told her two weeks but her glasses are ready before mine. What a joke

After getting old script in & new eye exam, Shane & Josh were able to help me get some new glasses same day. I appreciate the convenience these guys do! No other place around like them! Definitely come check them out and get your glasses here
