I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Ms Carla on my trip in to America's Best on October 17. As I told Ms Carla, the service she gave was extraordinary given that it was late in the day on a Friday. Not only did she help me pick out frames that fit my prescription needs, she encouraged me to step outside my box with the color scheme and she went the extra mile to find my insurance (I had no idea that my prescription card didn't fit these insurance needs lol) so that I wouldn't have to pay completely out of pocket for the 2 pairs I settled on. The stars truly aligned for me - Ms Carla, was both personable and professional, humorous and resourceful and a joy to work with! Happy Birthday to me!

I made an appointment to get an eye exam and to get lenses fitted for sunglasses I already owned, after checking on the phone that they could do so. Once I was there and had completed the exam, the optician told me they weren't able to because the brand wasn't in their database. He also wouldn't tighten my existing glasses, which I've had many opticians do for free without me even having paid for an exam like I did here. He wouldn't email me the prescription saying that HIPAA laws dont allow for email, which isn't true. Generally the treatment felt pretty dismissive. I'll have to make a new apt elsewhere to actually get my glasses. The optometrist was great though, just wish the optician could have been helpful.

Very disappointing experience. I clearly said multiple times that I only needed a $30 vision test for my Pennsylvania driver's license, which they confirmed by phone. Despite this, they kept pushing glasses and prescription questions I did not need. My vision is perfect, I didn't need glasses, yet I was charged $99 instead of $30. This felt misleading and dishonest -- I do not recommend this place.
