America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I want to say a big thank you to Ms. Taylor at America's Best. She was absolutely amazing! She helped me pick the right glasses and guided me through the whole process with so much patience and care. She was very friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Because of her excellent service, my experience was smooth and enjoyable. It's always nice to meet people who truly care about helping customers. Highly recommend!

I love this particular business. I've been going here for years and their people seem to get more helpful each time I visit. I was here this past week and was taken care of by Ginely. She was phenomenal. She made sure to get me everything I could get from my insurance. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Easy 5 stars. This is the only place I will continue to go in the future.

As someone with really bad social anxiety and that has never wore glasses before I for the most part really enjoyed my experience. I had an appointment 2/18 at 10:20 for an eye exam and possibly glasses. I walked in and there was 2 males being helped at the counter eventually a male worker came over somewhat aggressively to check me in and was asking me questions in a somewhat demanding manner causing me to freeze up and raise my anxiety. Eventually I was told to walk to the back to wait to be seen for my exam. The women who did my pre exam was a sweet women & the man that actually did the full exam was very sweet aswell. After my exam they told me to go pick out frames so I walked into the main lobby and started to look around and that's when Ginely approached me very calm and sweet. She started to give me a break down on how the pricing tages work and seeing if there was any frames or styles I liked. She then helped me pick out a couple different frames until I found 2 that I liked. I really appreciate Ginely for helping me reduce my anxiety she was very patient, understanding & very calm. Definitely recommend you ask for Ginely when you have an appointment.

I enjoyed today's experience at America's Best. Taylor is very helpful, knowledgeable, patient and very detailed when she explains how transition lenses operate. This is my second time coming here to receive a new script and hopefully I'll continue to come back. Thank you again Taylor and America's Best.

Luis was extremely helpful to me when I couldn't find the right reading glasses. He came to me with a pleasant smile and great customer service. He made sure I was comfortable with my choice and offered his assistance. I am so glad that he was able to help me make the best choice. I would definitely come back and highly recommend anyone to visit Luis. I am happy with my experience and purchase.

I scheduled an appt here for my handicap brother and we went to the Roosevelt location. As we're filling out required pre paperwork an employee informed us they didn't accept his medical insurance after they told me over phone that they did. Then they had the audacity and rudeness 10 minutes later to say to him "I'm sorry sir you have to leave" to a man with 1leg on crutches!!! He was waiting on me to return to pick him up cuz I had dropped him off and ran to another store in shopping center, he told employee he was waiting on his ride to pick him up employee just said oh and walked away!!! I am appalled at the way they treated another human being especially one who is handicap. We will never return to any America's best store.

I had a truly distressing experience at this location that I feel compelled to share. I arrived for my 2:30 appointment, but I didn't get to see the eye doctor until after 3:30, which made the whole situation very frustrating. The associate who was assigned to assist me, seemed unsure about her role and struggled to help with my questions. She often had to consult with her colleagues, which only added to my anxiety and left me feeling insecure about the whole process. To make matters worse, the pricing she quoted was significantly higher than what I had found online prior to my visit. Despite showing her the online rates, she could not provide a satisfactory explanation for the difference and refused to honor the offer or allow me to use the discount code I had discovered. I had even brought along a friend who has insurance, hoping to share this experience and possibly save some money, but instead, it became even more frustrating. I ended up spending over two hours in the office, and I wasn't the only dissatisfied customer; I overheard another patron expressing her concerns about the long wait time. While I did go ahead and purchase the glasses, I left feeling completely uninformed about my choice and as though I had been taken advantage of. Given everything that happened, I cannot recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable service or transparency.

I walked into the store and mentioned that I have America's Best insurance and wanted to use my own frame to get a new set of lenses. The employee immediately told me I would have to pay $37.50. I asked again to clarify, and he said there is a charge if you use your own frames. I then called another America's Best location, and they told me they would do it with no extra fees. I went to that location, had it done, and the glasses were fully covered by my insurance.
