This used to be a good optometry practice in Center City, but they decided to stop accepting all insurance without informing patients. I didn't even know that they stopped taking insurance until I called to make an appointment. And now they've ended optometry services altogether without informing patients once again? No blast email, no letters sent to patients, nothing? That's just rude.
This is hands down the best Dr's office I've ever been to. After seeing a regular optometrist who didn't have much experience with BVD I could tell my glasses were wrong and I needed a more thorough eval, I'm so glad I chose this office! I've never met a more compassionate team. I was a little nervous but Stephanie quickly put me at ease. She took one look at the script I was given previously she immediately knew it was wrong, my verticle misalignment was not addressed at all. Right away I knew I was where I needed to be. Stephanie and Dr Biscardi are both passionate with helping those struggling with BVD. I had a 2+hour comprehensive exam that thoroughly evaluated my vertical heterophoria. They immediately felt like friends who were trying to help you and excited to get you properly diagnosed and treated with some of the best lenses that exist. They can really relate to their patients because they deal with similar issues of their own. I live out of state and they are willing to do whatever they can to help. Now I am able to be comfortable driving again (I had double vision issues and my old glasses were way too strong causing great discomfort and anxiety) and I can't put into words how life changing that is. Stephanie has helped with a zoom follow up appt and even called me just a few days after receiving my glasses to see how they feel. I am
excited to check out their new office, I hear they have free parking now and it's in a cute area! I am looking forward to seeing them again as they help me with this journey.

Had a very strange customer experience here. My first visit this past July was wonderful - one of the best doctor's I've had, and the front desk coordinator was sincerely so kind. Everyone in office is wonderful! So when I had an issue with my new contacts about two weeks later, I didn't think it would be a problem to get it resolved. I called the office a few times, leaving messages, without answer. I tried using their text service. Nothing was returned except for a few "we're checking on this" or "we have to check with the doctor" for literally...months. I finally got an email in late September (my visit was in July) that they had a technical issue and could now help me resolve it. I got my contacts just the other day... it's November. When I picked them up, everyone again was so kind!!! I do not understand the disconnect between in-office and the people you call/email/text. I think they may hire outside people to do their phones, and I think that's a huge mistake. I really wanted to return here, but waiting 4 months for resolution is unreasonable.
I will admit, at first I was scared! I was accustomed to MONTHS of persistent and consistent vestibular headaches that left me with a diminished quality of life. I was used to it by the time I got the referral to see Dr. Biscardi. However I'm happy I didn't accept life with pain because after a month with my new prisms, life is so much better. No more anxiety, reading comprehension challenges, nausea, carsickness, or eye pain. I am renewed and feeling confident again, because I know more what the issue is and I have a capable care team ready to address any and all issues. Thank you Dr. Biscardi and the entire Biscardi team!!
Dr. Biscardi is the most knowledgeable and compassionate medical professional I have ever encountered. I experienced Binocular Vision Dysfunction symptoms for several years without diagnosis. After taking the BVD questionnaire, I was cautiously optimistic that her prism glasses treatment may help alleviate the ever-increasing anxiety associated with my BVD. At my first appointment, it was immediately evident how much she truly cares about her patients. She spent over 2 hours educating me and fitting me for the prism glasses. Upon picking up my new glasses, the immediate effectiveness was stunning with my BVD symptoms virtually disappearing. At the 6-week return checkup, she was genuinely delighted to hear about my progress. Her treatment has been life-changing for me, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. The optician Stephanie rounds the team out perfectly. She is professional and relatable as a BVD patient herself.
Dr. Biscardi and Stephanie are the dream team! I'm one of their neurovisual patients and every time I go for a visit, I feel like I'm at home. I enjoy my appointments which is saying a lot! My concerns are actually listened to and my questions are never brushed off. In fact, I've learned a lot about my eyes throughout the process of being treated for BVD. It took me some time to adjust to my glasses but Dr. Biscardi was with my every step of the way, calling to check in and seeing me last minute for an adjustment. Stephanie also explained everything in detail when she dispensed my glasses and made sure they fit correctly. It's been two months and I feel so much better. I no longer struggle with daily headaches, dizziness, or nausea and have less anxiety overall. I know it will only get better from here I highly recommend going to Dr. Biscardi if you think you have BVD or if you just need regular eye care!
After an exhausting search for help with my vestibular migraines over 3 years, I discovered Dr. Biscardi by chance after taking a quiz for Binocular Vision Dysfunction online. Within hours, I was contacted by her office and in for an appointment for a BVD consultation that following week. I knew from the moment I encountered Dr. Biscardi and her support team (shoutout Stephanie!), that I was in the right place; one that I had been searching for, for so long with my symptoms. They were absolute professionals in each of my appointments, walked me through what I was experiencing, what to expect, how costs worked and kept up communication in between appointments. Dr. B has helped get my life back on track by tackling the symptoms from my BVD and I cannot sing her praises enough. Although I am moving out of state for a little while, I will only see Dr. B for my eyes going forward. I cannot recommend her enough, and if I could give 6 stars, I would. It's tough finding doctors who actually care about you, but she does. Go and see her!
The MOST professional, sincere, hard-working, and kind people work here. Dr. Will is so incredible and Chrissy is the best! I haven't met Dr. Biscardi yet, but my husband says she's the nicest person. Front desk staff are also very competent and helpful. They all go out of their way for you - from researching the best eye discounts with your plan (Chrissy) to squeezing you into their schedule when you're desperate for a refitting (Dr. Will). Before I arrived, going to the eye doctor felt like a chore, but once I was there I felt so taken care of it warmed my heart. Thanks to the Biscardi Vision staff for all that you do!!
