Christine Weldon OD

I have been going to Dr. Weldon for over 15 years now. Love going to see her. She's very personable during her exams and I've never had an issue. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My mother had a serious eye issue that needed immediate attention and care so she was sent to see Dr. Wheldon. She wasn't originally on Dr. Wheldon's schedule and was considered an emergency appointment for this serious issue. Well Dr. Christine Wheldon was not happy about this and made every effort to show my mother as she waited patiently in the waiting room. Not only was she complaining clearly about my mother very loudly and obnoxiously so all could be heard, she then very aggressively stormed over to my mother to personally and verbally attack her while she was seated in the waiting room to let her know she had to wait until she had seen all her patients. Which was well understood by my mother and never questioned to begin with. My mother said "If this is a problem I really don't need you to see me." Dr. Wheldon then replied "Yes it is a problem and I will not see you." What kind of doctor behaves this way toward a patient? My mother was told to see this doctor. She did not mean to cause any inconvenience to anyone. This woman's lack of professionalism is appalling. I will make sure to let as many people i know of this. She acted very disgracefully and should be ashamed.
