One of the best experiences I've ever had with a Doctor. There was a cancellation so they called me the day before and asked if I was available and I said YES! The front desk was manned by two delightful young ladies who greeted me (by first name)! Dr. Putterman treated me like I've known him my entire life. He was extremely thorough in his assessment and made me feel so comfortable. Back to the front desk, I was presented a number of options of affordable frames to choose from and was told my new contacts and frames will be in in about a week! Super excited. Highly recommend.

Best experience I've had with an OD office hands down. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Dr. Putterman gave a thorough exam and took time to explain and answer my questions. They have a great selection of frames to choose from and go far and beyond the norm in terms of helping you select glasses that are right for your prescription and personal needs. Cannot recommend this office highly enough!

Dr. Putterman is your friendly, neighborhood eye doctor. He is excellent and his bedside manner is old school. It makes you trust him immediately. His staff is amazingly helpful and make the effort to know you by name. Won't go anywhere else.

My wife recommended this place to me. I went today for the first time and had a great experience. Dr. Putterman was very personable and also very knowledgeable when it came to his field. His wife, who works there as well, was great too and helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. If you live in the area, this is the best place to go.

Dr. Putterman is the best eye doctor ever! I've been seeing him for about 15+ years now along with the rest of my family. I have a very challenging prescription, and Dr. Putterman always makes sure my vision comes first. The rest of the staff is also always very helpful and kind!

Dr. Putterman is very knowledgeable and friendly, as is his entire staff. He is up to date on current examination practices and is devoted to making sure the patient is comfortable. When I went to pick out new glasses, it wasn't too busy so Dr. Putterman and his two receptionists all helped give me suggestions for frames and watched me try on numerous pairs. I highly recommend this practice!

I moved to the Roxborough area about 2 years ago and started going to Dr Putterman then. He and his wife are very warm, friendly people and have always been very helpful when I come in to get new frames or call for contacts. I highly recommend their practice!

I brought my four year daughter to this office and initially, she was scared. The nice office staff made great efforts to comfort her. My daughter was a hard cookie to crack until finally, in the actual chair where the doctor examined her eyes, she realized that it was not so scary after all. The doctor was very good with my daughter and made her feel better about being there. The nice office ladies, (one of which was the doctor's wife) was so helpful when it came time to select glasses that would be a perfect match for my daughter. The atmosphere there was so warm and inviting. It is so refreshing that there are still family practices out there that care about their clients, young and old alike. The next appointment I make there will be for myself!
