I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of Dr. Gretchen J. Brewer & Associates. I scheduled an appointment on March 24th for September 29th, and just four days before the appointment I was informed that my insurance would not be accepted. It is unacceptable to wait six months only to be notified at the very last minute that I cannot be seen.
When I asked if there were other providers in the area who might accept my insurance, I was told they did not know and that I should contact my insurance company myself. This lack of consideration and failure to communicate important information in a timely manner has been a complete inconvenience. Patients deserve better organization, respect for their time, and transparency regarding insurance coverage well before an appointment date.

Eye exam went well. The staff was able to schedule me in same day. Only downside of all experience was the cleaning. The place it's dirty stain carpets and equipment it's dusty and dirty. I don't think I would come back you offer medical service there should be a standard of cleaning.

This is my second time using this office and I love it. The receptionists are very professional, friendly and happy. The doctor is super nice and patient which is a change from other places I have been. I never feel pressured or rushed and my questions are always answered to my satisfaction. The wait time is minimal, I think I have found a home for my eye exams

I have been a patient at this office for over ten years. However, since the office moved to a new location, I have noticed that the newer staff members are not very friendly towards patients. Moreover, they provided me with incorrect information regarding my vision coverage. Unfortunately, I have decided that I cannot continue being a patient here. I have a suggestion for the management - please train your staff to show empathy and kindness towards patients. It can greatly improve the patient experience. If the front staff had been more caring and friendly, my daughter and I would still be patients there. The front staff represents the face of the business.

My first time at Dr. Brewer's office and I loved it. The front desk staff was friendly and greeted me as I walked in. I was highly impressed with the updated technology that I got to use for the first time. What stood out the most to me was the Dr. pulling up my eye images and explaining to me what she looked at to make sure my eyes were good. No Dr. has ever did that before, so it was very much appreciated.I will definitely be back!

First they only gave me 1 prescription instead of 2. When I tried to order new glasses the script for distance was plus instead of minus. I really don't have any confidence in this office.

Update 02/09/2024: one of the receptionist there is very unprofessional and doesn't explain questions regarding insurance. My child has two insurances and she said that I still had to pay for the exam. Why do I have insurance than? So I was confused. Then my mom actually canceled her appointment because the receptionist got an attitude with my mom over my mom's insurance.
New location is very nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The doctor that saw my daughter was very nice.We had an issue with insurance but other than that, everything was great.I would definitely recommend everyone to come to this location.

This office is exceptional. They're entire staff is great. Dr. Lamont is amazing. She really does her best for the patient happiness and comfort. I struggle with finding the right contact lenses for my astigmatism, far and near sightedness. She is patiently exploring all alternatives. They're new office is beautiful and new. Thank you!!
