Dr. Walter P. Harris, Jr.

While Dr Walter Harris may be an excellent Dr, he and his staff show very little respect for a patient's time. I waited for an hour and thirty minutes before he had time to see me. This did not instill confidence in his skills. I will seek care elsewhere.

(1) Great Dr but very poor on punctuality. Don't have plans after your appt bc you'll miss it or will be late (2) Be sure to get a receipt. Have it on the next appt to prove u paid for the previous appt

Dr. Harris and his exceptional team were warm and thorough throughout my 85 yo mother's cataract surgery process. I also see him for routine eye exams and have had the same experience :-) Definitely recommend!

Dr. Harris has been a great doctor for me. He is very professional and caring. I trusted him with my sight for Lasik surgery. It was one of the best things I ever did!! He was extremely thorough and explained everything that was going to take place and I am extremely pleased. I would recommend him to everyone!! Thanks Dr. Harris!!

Dr & Mrs Harris are professional , caring and very knowledgeable. Dr. Harris performed Lasik surgery on ne 15 years ago and I never had to return for adjustments. In addition he just removed a cataract and it was a perfect surgery. I highly recommend him for any and all eye surgery. He was exceptional. He & Mrs Harris ensured I understood all directions and had the necessary eyedrops I needed. Dr Harris was encouraging and did a follow up the next day.

Dr. Walter Harris has taken care of four (4) generations of my family-from my mother to my grandchildren. Our family won't go anywhere else for our eye care. His bedside manner is excellent. One time he had to calculate the refraction for new lenses he was preparing for me and he actually used geometry to determine the refraction. I never saw anyone use geometry in praxis. I was impressed. The entire time I have been coming to Rittenhouse Eye Care, he has been always the same:professional, kind,effective. If you need an ophthalmologist please consider Dr. Harris.

Dr. Walter Harris is an amazing doctor. He is very thorough. He listens to your concerns and comes up with a game plan specifically for your eye care. I would recommend Dr. Harris a million times over if you are looking for outstanding service and care.

I feel that Dr. Harris performed an unnecessary cataract surgery on me five years ago. I had one eye done and wanted to wait to see how the outcome would be. Three to five months later a large floater appeared in my eye and it's still obscuring my vision to this day! I am sorry to think and believe that was all about money. His waiting room is over flowing with poor little seniors especially, African-American, who want to support their own. My cataracts were small and surgery could have waited or never happened. I realize it now but, it's a little too late. My vision is poor and I have to live with it!
