Eye Surgical Medical Associates

I went today for my first visit. I called with a concern this morning and they got me in immediately. Every single person I encountered was friendly, polite and an overall delight! The Doctor is an absolute gem. Truly don't understand how this place could receive anything less than a 5 star review. I was so impressed that this will be my new eye doctor from here on out. Great job, Eye Surgical!

Dr. Sponberg is probably the sweetest, kindest physician in ANY practice/specialty that I have ever been a patient of in my life. I sometimes wish he was a general practitioner, he takes his time & listens to his patients. It's very refreshing in a world where most providers rush you in and out. He is a phenomenal doctor and person. The staff is very kind too. And Mr Jerry of course is so kind and helpful when it comes time to select the hardware. I love this facility.

No long wait time. Staff was professional and friendly. Dr. Kremer was very informed and informative. She did an in depth evaluation and explained the surgery process and expectations after the surgery. I am very happy with my experience and will return again.

The doctors in this office are great, and I truly appreciated their care. However, my rating is based on the ongoing issues with the front desk staff and their lack of communication. I had an appointment on September 20th, and I am only now -- November 18th, nearly two months later -- receiving my prescription. The delay was entirely due to front desk errors and miscommunication with the doctor. First, they forgot to order my trial contacts. After multiple calls from me, I was told the right lens had arrived but they were waiting on the left. When I followed up again, I was told everything was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the envelope was labeled for the right lens only. Only after I asked did they tell me that both eyes have the same prescription and that both lenses were in the envelope. So my contacts were sitting there the entire time while I was calling weekly, simply because no one bothered to double-check with the doctor or communicate clearly. From my appointment to finally getting my prescription, it took two months -- completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, due to this unpleasant experience, I will not be returning to this office.

I just called to make an appointment and the lady on the phone was extremely rude. Smh I was actually glad I finally found a place with good reviews and then run into such a rude person on the phone. All because I called and didn't have my insurance number when she asked for it. I had to get it out my wallet and that bothered her. She said I should've had it out. Which ok maybe I should've but why the need to be rude. How many older people do the same. Not knowing. Not cool. As a former front desk girl for a medical practice this is not cool.

Everyone was very courteous and professional. The office was clean and well organized, and I was seen right on time. I would absolutely recommend this practice to others.

Dr. Sponberg is just simply amazing. He is comforting, knowledgeable and has the best bed side manner. My whole family goes to him. And the staff today was GREAT!

I was so terrified of getting surgery to get rid of my cataracts but Dr Kauffman was amazing. I had surgery for my right eye on 11/19 and Dr Kauffman did a great job. I can already see everything so much clearer and brighter and I can't wait to get my left eye done on 12/10. I've since gotten my left eye done by Dr Kauffman and again he was absolutely amazing ! I will definitely be recommending Dr Kauffman to all my friends and family.
