I've never experienced such a lack of care in my entire life. You wait MONTHS for an appointment, they run 2-3 tests, and tell you to come back in 6 months. I WANT RELIEF! I WANT HELP! Is this really the best in Philadelphia? I can't believe it. I hate this place so much. This can't be my only option. I'm better off leaving the state and finding relief elsewhere. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

The lone star this review is receiving is for the doctor's and other medical staff exclusively, I do not take issue with them and they have provided more than adequate care. However, it needs to be addressed that the billing department for Wills Eye is downright appalling and has no business managing people's medical payments. I have been going to Wills Eye for around two years now and each time I have had to pay for my care there have been nothing short of headache after headache. They have consistently messed up the billing process. They have taken more money from me than they should have and kept it despite my requests to have my money given back to me. The extensive delays in processing payments is headache inducing and stressful wondering whether it was received or not. They mishandle all steps of the payment process and lack any semblance of organization or competence for me to consider them capable at their job. I will be looking for care elsewhere from this point forward because I will not tolerate this ridiculous display of administration from a billing department.

The doctors are phenomenal, but unfortunately getting a call back just doesn't happen. The office staff just doesn't bother to return phone calls from patients. This is the case with most offices today it is sad their is no accountability or desire to do a good job for your patients. I have worked in the medical field as a medical assistant for 12 years and had to answer phones and do call backs for 3 doctors and my patients always received a call back because I care. I am now a nurse and go above and beyond. This world needs more people who care and this office staff does not..I e we pilfer recommend this office to anyone.

Office staff is incredibly rude and short on the phone. Took me calling 3 times before I was able to get an appointment. The first time they said they would look up my chart and call me back, no call back. Second phone call I left a message, no call back. Surprised at the caliber of office staff that they have at such a reputable hospital.

I was sent to Will's eye by my eye dr as an emergency, due to swollen optic nerves in both eyes. Waited in the er for 8 hours to be told i could go home because they couldnt give me a reason for my nerves being swollen. Now its almost a week and a half later and i still havent had a follow up exam. This is due to the fact that staff in neuro-opthalmology doesnt answer their phones. And when you do get an "answer" the call immediately disconnects. Ive never in my life had this much of a problem trying to figure out what is wrong with me, let alone not get any follow up call to make sure im ok. Ive been calling everyday for the last week to get my appointment but at this rate i might as well look for another dr

I've seen three different departments here in the hopes of fixing my eye problem. All of the staff and doctors I have seen were very nice, patient, and caring. Overall, a pleasant experience. EDIT: For the past two weeks I have been trying to get in contact with the office where I am an established patient and my phone calls ring off the hook. No one answers the phone!

I visited the emergency service for treatment for double vision resulting from shingles. The emergency service was fine. I was referred to Dr. Adam DeBusk. He came up with a treatment schedule using predisone. He offered no commentary about my concerns. There was a two week period of improvement, and then no noticeable improvement. I was blocked on every avenue of communication to him. A week or two after the schedule was complete I was aware that the double vision was worsening. I am now with another doctor (not Wills Eye), hopeful that the damage can be repaired.

This office is absolutely terrible and unorganized. The receptionists are incredibly rude and will yell at you over nothing. I'm surprised they let such uncivilized and untrained receptionists work with professionals and their patients. It's not worth the hassle and headache.
