As an outpatient, of Wills Cornea Clinic, located at 840 Walnut Street in Philadelphia PA, from July 22, 2025 through January 5, 2026 my experience with the office staff, the office manager, Brittany and Briann the department supervisor have been a total nightmare. The office staffs inability to complete paperwork for a patients employer correctly and in a timely manner shows their lack of concern for the individual needs of their patients. Signage in the office claims there is a 7 to 10 day process period to complete forms, in my personal experience all forms I submitted have taken between 31 and 40 business days to be partially completed, if they were completed at all. As of the date of this review, I have made 6 written request, as well as 4 verbal to Brittany and Briann, beginning on December 4, 2025 requesting they complete paperwork for the NJ Department of Temporary Disability extending my benefits to no avail, once again proving there lack of concern of the financial hardship individuals incur traveling to Wills Cornea Clinic to be seen by, what most consider the best Cornea Specialist and the teaching Fellows

My husband had a cornea transplant by Dr. Syed in May, 2024 and a second eye done in July, 3024. We were both very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend her as a cornea surgeon. She's very personable, explained everything and readily answered our questions. Her team was also very professional and friendly. It's always a bit daunting to undergo eye surgery but we were confident in her abilities and had excellent results. We just had another follow up appointment yesterday and she said both eyes look perfect. We feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Syed as my husband's eye surgeon.

Never been seen by the doctor less than 90 minutes after my appointment time for all several appointments I have had here. Doest matter what time the appointment is scheduled for. How are you over an hour behind at 10am? How are you going to have all these no show fees (after 15 minutes late) when you are consistently over an hour late every time. Also my previous review stating the same was somehow purged.

I'm seeing shade thrown at my guy, Dr. Meghpara, and I am befuddled. This man has been nothing short of a miracle. Actually, shout out EVERY HUMAN at Wills Eye cornea (but shout out to NO ONE in retina, sorry not sorry) for bringing me back to life after an outrageously painful, terrifying, and insane pseudomonas infection that obliterated my right cornea. The months I had to sit in a dark room, the insane drop regimen I was on, the dreaded Prokera, the even more dreaded tarsorhaphy (I don't even wish this procedure on the New York Mets), being out of work for three months ... I've never been so depressed or scared. I saw Dr. M twice a week for a long, long time until my infection finally began to clear; after a year, I was ready for a new cornea, which I just got in December '24. I've never felt in better hands than at Wills Eye. Dr. M is kind, low-key hilarious, transparent, patient, warm, and has dope socks. Wills Eye feels like family at this point. Shout out to my guy Henry, too, THE BEST IN THE BIZ.

I can stand the long wait time which takes over 3 hours for each visit, but for the surgery appointment they will only send you a message to notify the surgery time one day before without ask your availability. For a 6 am appointment with 1h drive, I have to bring my kid with me as daycare does not open that early which is frustrating.

My experience with the help getting my catteratics removed replaced with new manufactured lenses is going pretty well. I had no problems with the nurses or doctors. Or even with the lobby staff. However, the one doctor reminds me of a blue smerf. She goes by the Nane Zeba ! Not bad for a little lady.. My eye site has always been bad. But miracles do happen. I will not be surprised if I still have to wear glasses. If you are having problems contacting them. Make sure you know what time they are open and closed and set up an appointment when you talk to them over the phone. As far as Doctors, I recommend Ms. Zeba. She is an excellant doctor in her field and the outhers too. Do not be afread to ask any questions you may have.

While the care provided may be good, the office staff refuse to be helpful, pass needed messages to doctors and will repeatedly talk over you. I am exhausted from 3 days of back and forth calls to BEG for a needed refill because my Dad's eye is worsening in condition without it. This is the second incident of trying to get them to provide the aftercare their doctors tell me he needs because the of the staff. Despite having been treated by both Cornea and Retina, both offices insist he has not. Hopefully I will hear back from a manager even though I can't seem to get through to anyone to help.

There is something strange with this office. The doctor overbooks. It should not happen, Neither the patients nor the staff are to blame. However, the staff needs to Be a smidge kinder to patients. It is important to have some patience with individuals as they inquire, particularly since most of the individuals are advanced in age. Demonstrating empathy can greatly benefit the staff and patients. Responding to a patient by saying "I cannot manage anything beyond the check-in process," is not an appropriate answer. Please try to do better.
