Just had a great experience at Willis eyewear. Shakina was able to fix my sunglasses, and her customer service was fantastic. So kind, big thank you!
My daughter sees the ophthalmologist at the Wills eye walnut street location, have had good experiences there. Why they sent my 4yo's glasses here, I have no idea. Got an VM Friday her glasses were ready for pick up, arrive Saturday morning, during their reported normal business hours and the store was closed/locked up. I'm so mad, having a 3 month old and 4yo in tow. Not good business.
The store is bright beautiful, clean. Had a large selection on hand. I had a good experience. Brian who helped me order my glasses was a Professional, Very courteous, kind. He also smelled good like Heaven, like really good. I thanked him for the great experience.
After finding out they did not have what I was looking for, Jack, the sale assistant literally started Googling other places and called 3 different competitors to see if anyone can help. It was truly incredible to watch. And after all this, he ended by giving me precise instructions on how to get there.
I probably received one of the best customer service I ever experienced at this store today. I work in the hospitality industry myself, and we always talk about putting the customers first, but Jack is setting the bar to a new level. Big Kudos.
To Jack when he sees this review I just wanted to say that even though not everyone you help comes back to say thank you, every little gesture of genuine kindness goes noticed and appreciated. =)
This place (Fashion District) is terrible. I assumed because it was Wills Eye, I would have an overall good experience but I did not. Terrible! After I left with my son, I get a bill for $200 that I don't know what for. I paid about $150 up front for what they told me I was getting done which was an eye exam and prescription for contacts. What is $200 for. My son had an appointment for new contacts and he used insurance. Later when he used a prescription they gave him, he was told the prescription is for glasses, not contacts. I called them and asked if the correct prescription can be faxed, they said they cannot fax it, I will have to come in and pick it up. The person on the phone was polite, but didn't know what options there were to get it to me other than coming to pick it up. Never again! I just want to be done with them.
Their customer service ( in person AND WHEN U CALL THEM ) is so bad. First they are incredibly rude. I called three times for them to hang up on me as soon as I said hi. After a lady finally "helped" me, she was incredibly rude and hung up. Terrible. There's only one person in there that was really nice. I understand that it might be busy at times but that gives you no excuse to be rude.
Your store was closed yesterday 09/24/2022 during normal business hours. No sign on the door and no one answered why you were closed during peak hours. I told the guy today the store was closed yesterday and that's it. He offered no explation or apology whatsoever. I only went downtown for the sole purpose to get my glasses and ended up on a dummy mission wasting time, gas and parking money. I generally have great customer service here, so please do better.
I've been calling for 3 weeks trying to get my contacts prescription filled after having an eye exam and getting a "trial pair" of contacts I'm very disappointed, not only did no one reach out to me but after calling today the receptionist informed me that I'm unable to get my contacts ordered threw my insurance (which was approved and they have a photo copy of my card from my eye exam visit)the receptionist was very rude and hung up on me TWICE to avoid the questions I was asking. This is very unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend and they never emailed me my contact prescription after asking for it to take to another practice. Oh and I had a referral order to come here from my insurance!
