The staff is so great. Very knowledgeable and professional--and a pleasure to deal with! From exam to frame selection, one stop shopping. I love the shop--it's sparkling clean. The selection of frames is excellent, including a made-in-Pittsburgh company. Easy parking. I've been going there since about 2016. My husband likes buying eyewear there, too.

Verify contacts match Rx IMMEDIATELY. I found out after moving states that one of my 90-day boxes was entirely different from my Rx. I'd figured it was just my bad astigmatism and just stopped wearing them. I called (upon suggestion from my new dr.) to ask if I could send them my nearly-full box as proof and receive a correct box (they're expensive!). I understand if it's not in their policy and that I called two years after my last appt with them, but: [1] They first denied any error (I have paperwork and axis differs by 100 degrees) and [2] Then they blamed their dr. for entering incorrectly and was very rude about me simply asking two years after the appointment. There is zero reason for their behavior: I was calm and kind. They only needed to calmly state their policy and that they wouldn't choose to kindly reimburse me for not noticing their mistake in a timely manner. Dr. Gibson, on the other hand, was the best optometrist I've ever had and I'm thankful for her knowledge and kindness during a difficult and complex medical period for me.

Overall, an excellent experience. The recent renovation clearly improved the space--there's a better flow, more breathing room, and a calmer environment for both staff and customers. Everyone I interacted with was prompt, polite, and attentive, and the timing of each step matched what was promised. Dr. Jake Hunker is an exceptional clinician. He combines deep knowledge of current scientific literature with sensitivity to patient history and values. He's personable, engaging, and thorough in his explanations. At one point, he even sketched a detailed diagram to illustrate how the visual field in progressive lenses has evolved over time, contrasting it with traditional horizontal designs. He also explained why he preferred to perform a direct light examination in addition to digital imaging--to establish a clear baseline as a new patient. This was a thoughtful rationale, though it did raise an eyebrow about the $39 fee listed for the imaging procedure advertised as eliminating the need for dilation. It's a small inconsistency, but one worth noting--especially since some patients might pay extra for a service that, in practice, doesn't deliver that benefit. The pricing structure in general could use a bit more transparency. The frame selection is adequate but not particularly inspiring, and staff knowledge about manufacturers and materials seemed uneven. For instance, the brand I chose features prominent marketing about its materials and production methods. It would strengthen customer confidence if the floor staff could speak with more precision about those details. The same goes for lenses. The pricing display--a laminated sheet outlining tiers--focuses on outcomes like reduced glare or improved peripheral vision. Veronica, who helped me through that process, was excellent: warm, confident, and clearly experienced. She shared how she had even visited the parent company's factory years ago, which gave her a solid grasp of the basics. Still, when I asked what actually accounts for the tiered pricing--what technologies or materials justify the cost differences--the answers were somewhat general. From what I gathered, it depends largely on which generation of manufacturing equipment is used, rather than on a specific material improvement. Finally, I asked Dr. Hunker about some of the studies he cited and whether they were funded by the device manufacturers whose equipment the clinic uses. He acknowledged the question, and it's one worth keeping in mind: even well-designed studies should be read with attention to potential conflicts of interest. In all, an impressive visit--marked by professionalism, expertise, and care--but with room for clearer communication on pricing and product details.

I recently had an eye exam and could not be happier. Very professional, friendly, and courteous staff. The exam was comprehensive and thorough. The experience left me feeling very confident with content to chose this eye center for all my future needs.

I had an appt with Dr.Gibson...my first visit there. Everyone was wonderful. Dr.Gibson was very thorough. Rachel was sweet. Alex helped me to choose the perfect pair of new frames. I cant wait to get my new glasses!

I just love my Eye Doctors Megan and Leslie they are wonderful young woman and Excellent in their field. They always make you feel like family and they truly do care about all there patients.
