Dr. Kent and the staff of E&U are incredibly kind and thorough. Dr. Kent is very pleasant and he took the time to explain exactly what was happening to my eyes. I particularly appreciated his humorous approach as it relieved my anxiety.

The exam was fine, Dr. Kent was thorough, efficient and personable. Gave complete and understandable answers to all my questions. But afterwards I was told to wait to be called in the waiting room to schedule my surgery. After sitting for half an hour, I asked at the desk. After checking on something, she said I should go ahead and leave and they would call me. Very annoying, I really could have used that half hour.

I thought Dr. Kent had left or was leaving the practice. All you doctors have your business cards prominently displayed, in more than one place, except for him. What's up with that?
Also, after his cards were restored, i noticed in recent appointments, both for me and for friends of mine, that he does not seem happy there anymore. I used to be able to have conversations with him. Now everything is short and curt--absolutely no talking during an exam, and then a quick goodbye. My friend noticed this as well.
We respect Dr. Kent, and wish him well. We hope whatever this is will pass, and we look forward to more pleasant office visits.

Dr Kent was wonderful! He explained so many things to me, that weren't explained by my previous Dr.. I have had many eye issues throughout my life and have seen many Doctors this was one of my most informative appointments I've ever had! Thank you so very much for your comfortable, kind and informative words!! Liz at the front desk was so kind and helpful. I somehow lost my wallet and did not realize it until she asked for my things. I had no idea where it could be but she was so calm and polite which helped me. My appointment went well without my information and I emailed everything to Liz when I got home and found my wallet!!! Thanks Liz!

I appreciate that he did a test on my eye for dry eye when most others did not. It was a micro fluid analysis and others which did finally tell me I have MGD and major dry eye. But unfortunately I just felt he was kinda not nice and off putting. He pretty much just gave me some general recommendations such as more omegas and other things like environmental factors. I've since seen two other eye doctors and one was significantly better at spending more time and making me feel heard. And not feeling like they were talking to me like a condescending way. Also crazy to rack up a $100 bill as in $25 for each test. It's prob $25 for the whole box of tests. My insurance only paid for less than 1/2 the test so got a bill even with good insurance.
