I had a fantastic experience at Dormont Eye Care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They took their time with my exam, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. The doctor was thorough, patient, and really took the time to answer my questions. The office is clean, and well-organized, and they have a great selection of frames to choose from. I left feeling confident about my eye health and truly appreciated the level of care I received. Highly recommend Dormont Eye Care to anyone looking for top-notch eye care and service!

I can't say enough good things about this eye doctor! They're incredibly thorough, kind, and genuinely care about their patients. Every visit feels personal, never rushed, and they take the time to explain everything clearly. My vision has never been better, and I always leave feeling confident and cared for. I had an appointment with dormont vision center in 2022 with Paul Spivak. During the appointment, he made strange and unprofessional comments to me and called me "good girl" more than once while I was having my eye exam. I am an adult man. It was awkward and I wasn't sure how to respond. Said eye exam took easily twice as long as any other eye appointment I've had, and involved more (unwanted) physical touch than any other eye appointment I've had. The 2 stars are for the assistants who were very helpful, especially when I went to pick up my glasses. The glasses themselves served me well. Due to my experience with the doctors 'bedside manner' so to speak, I would not recommend this doctor to women, LGBT clients, or men who are easily mistaken for women, and I have not been back since.

Amazing experience every time I go for my eye visit. Always Professional, Knowledgeable and it definitely shows why they have been in business for so many years. They have a great staff who truly cares about their patients. They carry a wide variety of frames to meet everyone's needs. Dormont Vision is hands down so much more than what these current franchises can offer.

I always have a great experience at this office! The doctor takes the time to listen and answer all of my questions. The staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful. I love their selection of glasses too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality eye care and excellent service!

I wouldn't recommend this office. The lack of communication being the main reason. My daughter was seen on 4/26. They said her glasses would be ready in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed & we didn't hear anything from them, so I called on 5/12. I was told that the glasses came in, but the prescription was only put in 1 lens & not both so they were going to send it back. They said it would take 1 week & that they put it in as a rush. Today is now 6/3, so it's now been over 3 weeks since my last call & over 5 weeks since my daughters original appt. I didn't receive a call saying the glasses came in, so I called myself. I was told they were in & that they texted me. I told the man who answered that I never received a text or call. He verified the telephone number & they had my old telephone number which only changed a year ago. (He tried to say the new system they had didn't have my new number, but they changed the system before my number was changed. & I never received any texts then either. Only phone calls) Mind you, my husband filled out new paperwork when he took our daughter on 4/26 & he gave my new number & he also gave his. Here's my thing. The only communication I've ever had was via telephone. No texts. If you screwed up my daughter's prescription & had to send them back, a text wouldn't have sufficed anyway. I should have received a phone call. He asked me to give him my new telephone number, but I declined because my husband is going to pick up our daughter's glasses & then finding a new vision center to go to going forward.
