6th floor has no sense of time management. Appointment at 10:30am, got here at 9:45am after 4 hours of driving. It is currently 1:45pm, and STILL HERE.
Parking is a joke and main entrance is on a steep hill. Who thought this would be a good place for an EYE doctor?!

The staff in the eye / ear care unit is very friendly, and accommodating.
However the young woman downstairs that is there to assist you in finding your way around is absolutely useless. She was asleep when I walked in, and not any help at all.

I was on time for my appointment. About 5-10 minutes after I arrived, I was called back. I was prepped for the Doctor and sent to the seating area. Not long after sitting I was led to see the Doctor. My appointment was 9:45 am, I was on my way home by 10:34 am. Excellent timing. Thank you Very much.

Great experiences here. Dr. Emily Depew is very kind and caring. She is very professional and thorough during the exam. She explains everything going on with your eyes and sight in a way you can understand. She gives you time to ask questions and answer them. She makes you feel comfortable and makes you feel at ease. I recommend this establishment for your eyes and highly recommend Dr. Emily Depew. She is awesome and incredibly humble.

The 7th floor needs to get their act together FAST. The technicians are rude and impatient in dealing with visually impaired patients. The communication with patients and support people of patients is awful. My husband had a minor procedure done, told me to wait in a small waiting room (freezing), sent him to the main waiting room and never got me. He had to call me because he was waiting longer than the said wait time and he thought they forgot about him. HE IS VISUALLY IMPAIRED! Sadly, we have to go through this in2 weeks.

I signed in at around 8:40 am, my appointment was for 9am, 4th floor. While waiting a man came in and said his appointment was for 8:30 am. 2 minutes later he was ushered to the back. My appointment was for 9, I was finally seen at 9:32 with and apology for my long wait. I have UPMC insurance, but the hearing aids I was shown were expensive which seems to be the norm for anything bought from UPMC that it will more expensive than any other place with similar items.

They were kind and easy to talk to. And very thourow to find out what's going on with you. The sad thing about my experience is the parking . I picked the parking garage that was under construction expectly when I was driving a pickup truck. That nearly didn't fit. But what can you do your in Pittsburgh . Love it..
