Dr. Ooi is the absolute best opthalmologist I have ever been to. I would most certainly recommend him. He cares, he listens, he takes his time and doesn't rush you. He is such an amazing opthalmologist. He is wonderful, I am so thankful to have found him, and the staff there is courteous and kind, and so incredibly helpful. So glad I found them.

Dr. Ooi is wonderful. He exudes confidence. I was super nervous about cataract surgery. He patiently answered my endless questions. Stone, his assistant, is also terrific. The office is professional, clean and inviting. I strongly recommend Dr. Ooi for any of your eye care needs.

Dr. Ooi deserves more than 5 stars. He is absolutely, and by far, the best physician I have ever been to. He is incredibly attentive to his patients and he truly takee time to dig into the underlying cause of an issue. His office staff is also very friendly. You will wait a long time if you come to this office, but it will be worth it. The reason you're waiting a long time is because Dr. Ooi puts a lot of time and effort into seeing and caring for every patient. If you want an outstanding physician, you might have to wait longer, but such is the case for anything good in life! If you have any eye issue that hasn't been solved yet, come here. You will get closer to a solution than probably anywhere else. Again, I could not more highly recommend Dr. Ooi.

With amicable staff, a pleasant office ambiance, and quick turnaround times for patients, I would highly recommend Dr. Heo-Jeng Ooi. Dr. Ooi adeptly communicates the methodology of procedures, their background, benefits, and consequences. His assistant Mr. Stone also deserves acknowledgment - when I couldn't find the office, he personally came outside to show me the way. Overall, great experience.

Very detailed eye exam and prescription checkup. Accepts CMU Aetna student insurance from EyeMed with the attached copays as of 2018.

He was terrific, from pre surgery to post surgery answered my questions made me feel comfortable through the whole process..

Gave me an eyeglasses prescription that was nothing close to any one I had had in the last 50 years and told me it was a "different system", so I had glasses made but can't see out of them. What a waste!!
