Eyetique - Squirrel Hill

Staff in the store are excellent. The shortcoming is the lack of onsite lab. For new lenses, there's a minimum of 10 business days turn-around. For those of who depend on glasses, that's too long.

I had the great misfortune to go to this Eyetique in October. I do not know how they are in their new location, however I am not willing to risk the same unnecessary problems by dealing with the same people ever again. The problems were wide ranging and so numerous that it is ridiculous. I had been told by my insurance that my regular location was no longer in network. I foolishly thought these people would be similar to that group. The location when I went was not accessible once you entered store. One display room had Stairs. To get to restroom or exam room, also Stairs. Blinding sunlight made it difficult to see anything in store, even before my eyes were dilated. Placement of display tables were too close to move comfortably in main room. They did not have any frames remotely similar to what I said I wanted. The frames they did have that I liked were were insanely expensive. Had to go to my fifth choice for frames for only too expensive. I was never told that reading glasses were going to be heavier than distance. I was not told they were moving locations. I was not told there would be a delay because they sent frames to wrong lab the first time. I have worn glasses or contacts since 1969, they took longer for me to get my glasses than ever before, and I didn't have any special procedures other than polycarbonate lenses. No antiglare, and they weren't even bifocals. These were strictly reading glasses.

Been dealing with company for 4+years and never been taking advantage of think they r there for sales commission etc not the people wolves in sheep clothing never listen Melissa the manger ok ordered whatever she wanted never listened to me now stuck with a frame that gives me headaches instead of my everyday frame now 300.00 later have to spend another 300.00 for correct frame lenses wouldn't correct there mistake really didn't care only thing I got was I waited on u no Haley was n u took over n messed everything up cause u don't listen n confirm what the customer wants n can pay for like this country isn't fighting to survive. Will go to Jaime downtown she does care n takes her job very seriously n does n helps the customers

It was a nice and pleasant experience, and I loved the new location. I would say just make sure you have a couple extra minutes for parking.

They clearly don't care about their business or their customers. The staff is downright rude. What a waste of time. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

Ignorant staff. No selection .. overpriced junky looking frames. . Felt like I didn't exist. No doctor on site either ..fishy

After insurance, I spent a small fortune for a brand new pair of frames and lenses. I can't afford this luxury moving forward. Staff are super helpful and nice. Service is great, prices are very high. After I purchased my glasses I did my research and could have found them elsewhere for less. Live and learn.

I've been going to Eyetique for over 30 years. Extremely knowledgeable staff with an excellent selection of eyewear.
